This little guy is a very practical and cheap solution for a secondary PC screen. I haven't used it as a TV so far.

I repair PC's for friends and family which at times includes going to them to help diagnose issues. This little monitor is great for testing graphics cards, monitors, and any other problems that can arise when display outputs are a problem or the PC is run headless as standard. My old screen was starting to give me problems so after a quick shop around I decided on this small monitor. Mostly because of it's size making it very portable, but also because it's still a moderate size screen for viewing when fault finding. The multiple inputs make connectivity amazing, instead of needing several monitors I only need this monitor and just a couple of extra cables. I do not really use the monitor to play audio but from the limited testing I have done, the sound quality is acceptable for a device of this size. The speakers do not hiss or crackle, spoken audio is clear and easy to understand. For anyone wanting a basic monitor of this size to watch videos on, use for CCTV purposes, or any other requirement where this monitor would be an ideal fit. I would highly recommend this instead of some of the other options available. This is not the cheapest monitor available in this size range, but compared to some of the other monitors I have tried in the past, this monitor is by far the best value for money

Great little monitor with a useful mix of inputs consisting of HDMI, VGA, RCA composite, and BNC. As others have mentioned, the HDMI port it a little tight but rather than messing around with sandpaper or other bodge hacks like some people have done, I simply installed a right-angle HDMI adapter and now I can easily plug in any HDMI cable I want. The monitor is extremely lightweight which is great if you want to use it as a camera monitor, but it also means it is very easy to knock over which I have indeed done and have scratched the screen as a result, as the screen is just soft plastic. But, overall, a very useful monitor.

I bought this for a screen to attach to my CCTV DVR. Ideal for the job. Everything you will need to connect it. I plugged the HDMI lead in connected the power supply and switched on. It immediately recognised the HDMI and the pictures appeared. Excellent for what I need just switch on and all six cameras are on screen.

It's hard to rate this monitor as there are pros and cons. First the pros: The screen is light, very light, but this made it easy to handle including flipping it over to install cables. The HDMI mode works well with a picture quality you would expect at the price. The remote allows switching inputs and powering off but not on (even though there is a button), you can also adjust the settings using the remote or on device buttons. The stand is good enough but a magnetised cross-head screwdriver is needed for assembly. Now the cons: The HDMI socket is so close to the case it won't fit a normal HDMI connector: I had to sand paper down a cheap made-of-plastic HDMI cable connector to around half a millimetre (on the narrow side of the HDMI plug) to get the HDMI plug into the socket. I don't think it's possible to purchase a cable with a thin enough connector. VGA worked but I only tested it in text mode and the characters were shifted left of the screen about 1/3 of a character. Not an issue for my usage but avoid if you use VGA in text mode. Also, the settings did not survive a power off and on. If you are looking for a cheap HDMI/VGA monitor and are fine with sanding down a connector on a HDMI cable then this is a good choice, otherwise look elsewhere

Doesn't comply with interference regulations as it interfered with my ham radio from20mgs to 30 mgs so not fit for purpose I returned the item

Fantastic little monitor that has a lot of features and inputs. It works straight out of the box, the only assembly required is the stand which is just a case of tightening two screws. It comes with a VGA and a HDMI wire so you should be able to connect most laptops and PCs. It has a HDI, VGA, USB and AV connectors so it will be compatible with a whole host of devices. The monitor also has a BNC connector so it can be linked to a CCTV camera to view the picture. I'm using this one predominately as a portable laptop monitor but I'm considering getting another to wall mount and link to a camera at the front door so I can see who is calling. The picture quality is great for a small screen and it even has inputs for speakers and a microphone. It's a great little monitor and has a lot more functionality than my main larger monitor which was a lot more expensive. Really happy with it.

I bought this 13" monitor to use it for bench testing PCs and it will work great for this, especially as it's so physically light. This monitor replaces a 7" one that I have had for a decade or so. My old eyes can't cope with the tiny 7" screen any more, plus the rubber coating on the 7" has started to degrade and go sticky so it was due replacement anyway. I have not experiences the HDMI issue that another reviewer did and the first HDMI cable that I tried fitted fine. No problems here. I can't comment on the longevity as I have only just got it, but if there are any issues then I will update this review.

It was nice for a few weeks, then it died. I don't think the video connector liked when I switched sources back and forth.

I bought this small LED monitor to use with a Comcast HD television adapter (HDTA) to place on my nightstand. I selected this particular product because, based on the "what's in the box" photo on the Amazon website, it appeared to come with a remote control that, among other things, provided for volume adjustment as well as power on/off. The picture looked quite good, and had good color saturation, so if you don't care about the remove, it may be a good choice. But the remote is the problem. While the remote control that was pictured on the website was indeed included in the box, there was no mention of it in the very tiny user manual, nor was there any discussion as to which of the multiple functions on the remote were actually supported. (For example, the remote has channel number buttons and a channel change toggle, which a monitor with no turner would obviously not support.) So after I set up the monitor I put some AAA batteries into the remote so I could see what it would do. In fact, it did NOTHING at all! It didn't turn the power on or off. It didn't change the input settings. It didn't change the volume. On closer examination of the monitor, I realized that there was no IR sensor on the unit, so basically the remote that was provided with the unit had nothing to do with the monitor itself. Bottom line: I have returned the product because it didn't come with a working remote.

I am impressed! Wow! I normally don't write reviews, but from time to time one finds a product that surpasses expectations in simplicity and efficiency. In my line of work I have to service and upgrade a lot of headless servers. Having a VGA monitor that can fit in your backpack and has all the right inputs, throw in a wireless mini keyboard and you're set! I also must mention that the full color manual included is well laid out in more than 5 languages! Everything: quality, HD resolution, accessories, packaging, presentation & funcionality, all excellent! 7 stars out of 5!
