The colander bottom is EXTREMELY SHARP AND CUT SKIN. If you put your hand on the bottom of liker paper cuts. Contacted Elkay and because I bought through Amazon they originally didn't want to do anything. They said no one else has complained. But after round and round they will send out another. I'll update after they new one comes in.

I really like the looks of this sink. Still waiting for it to be installed. I bought an Open Box which said it was in new condition. The sink was fine, no dents. But make sure all of the pieces are there before the return window ends. Looking forward to trying this out in a few weeks.

This is an entire sink system, not simply a bowl. And it is quite a system: commercial quality, heavy, luxurious accessories added to a rock of a sink. The sink itself is stainless and can be under or flush mounted. This is a one-hole sink with no divider, though the same system is available with a two-hole sink. An inch below the sink rim two ledges run the length of the sink onto which various accessories can be placed. Accessories include a rubberized roll-up drying rack that can cover the whole sink, a stainless drying rack with raised dividers for trays and plates, a stainless grid (that is placed in the bottom of the sink), a heavy acacia wood cutting board, a wood-handled rectangular collander and a large stainless drain hole with a basket inside for catching food particles washed from the sink. The product page provides pictures of the system's various features. I've done a video that gives an idea of what it looks like with the various accessories in real life. So what's the system like as a whole? The sink itself is top-quality: rigid, deep, strong. It feels like a tank. The accessories are of quality equal to the sink. The box the system came in is HEAVY. The question you must answer before purchasing this is whether you'll use the accessories. My wife likes the idea of the separate pieces and the increased workspace. She especially likes the strainer basket in the sink base. She feels the raised drying rack would likely not get much use (but it's one of the lesser pieces from the outset). She likes the cutting board--if you like wood, you'll find it convenient. The collander works well in tandem with the cutting board. The whole thing is obviously constructed to give many years of use. Not one part of it feels cheap. Overall, this is a great system. It's especially nice in that the sink itself--the foundation of the concept--is an excellent sink. Elkay is an old American company and this is a nice new product from them.

I’m not sure I’ll use the drying rack much but I do love the cutting board and the in sink grid as well as the colander. Overall this sink is high quality and incredibly heavy duty, nice commercial quality!

Can you actually love a sink? When it's this amazing, absolutely yes! This is made with excellent quality materials and workmanship. They seriously thought of everything when it comes to the sliding accessories! I LOVE the disposal saving drain catch basket! The sink guard and drying rack are excellent quality and so useful. I especially love the colander and cutting board. One of the best features is how quiet it is - no more shouting to each other as you do the dishes!
