Carhartt Pet Toys, Training Fetch and Chew

I purchased this for training our new puppy. It floats for use in the water. It is durable enough to withstand years of use, but you must understand this is not a chew tow. WIth that said, it will stand up to quite a bit of chewing. More of a toy for retrieval, fetch, and all-around play. It is our dog's favorite toy!

Great started toy for a retriever

I've always liked their products but this one did not live up to the standard of durability one would expect from Carhartt. My dog loves to fetch and then have a little game of tug but after just two playing/training sessions the bottom orange part started to separate from the top and the sand now leaks out. I'm trying to figure out a way to fix the toy so that we can still play safely with it but the way the fabric is shredding will make sewing impossible.

This is my golden’s favorite retrieving toy of all time. The handle makes it easy to throw and it has been very sturdy.

I have a new GSP puppy and I bought this for her to play with. She played with it by chewing it up. I was hoping this toy would have lasted longer for the price.

Product is a good quality product When is very good for training purposes. However it is not made to be a chewy toy For large aggressive dog Chewing.

Our dog loves the water and this is the perfect toy.

This was a go lift for my friend and his new 5 month old golden retriever, it was a big hit. Thanks for the speedy delivery and easy transition.

Wish I read the 1 star reviews before wasting my money and risking my dogs health! Bought a Carhartt toy because a friend said they were durable. Well my 12lb miniature daschund is an aggressive chewer and tore into the toy in 10 minutes…. Outer layer isn’t the same material as their heavy duty construction clothing. Once he got through it there is a foam core that is filled with a ton of little tiny pellets! I was lucky enough to have noticed the pellets before my dog ate any! What a mess! They were like white rocks found in the bottom of a fish tank! I can’t believe they would fill a toy up for dogs with that stuff knowing the possibility of a breach. Love my Carhartt gear but this is more than a disappointment. Avoid!
