“The Minute You Came Into My Life, I Knew I Would Never Be the Same.”
Our favorite blogging couple is back, this time with a baby on the way. They’ve survived goat yoga and latrine shovels, but wait until you see what's in store for them. Of course everything between Georgie and Jordan is a competition, and they wouldn’t be part of the City Beat family without having a pregnancy somehow turn into a competition full if mishaps and shenanigans.Y'all, this book is worth reading for Georgie's first OB visit alone. I laughed so hard I was in tears and want so badly to spill all the deets, but, hello spoilers. Just imagine the absolute worst doctor’s name for an OB along with his uncomfortably over-the-top personality, and the train wreck of exhausted baby/toddler daddies trying to corral their tykes while discussing all the necessary preregistrations for an up-and-coming Denver baby to go places in life. Our only-child, over-achieving couple quickly learns their internet research knowledge in no way translates to real life pregnancy and parenting. We get to revisit other characters we've come to love, including the quirky, endearing owners of City Beat and Georgie’s offbeat mother, as well as Brice, Georgie's original bad date who inspired her blog. There are plenty of laughs as City Beat turns pregnancy into a competition and chronicles the pregnancy. We also get plenty of spicy times, because pregnancy hormones, and loads of heart as Georgie and Jordan navigate the craziness and fall deeper in love. Riotously funny and incendiary while sweet and tender, you’ll love this endearing, adorable couple. Get your copy today of one of the best reads of the year. You won’t want to miss a minute of the Battle of the Births and the internet's favorite sweethearts!

For the love of baby goats this was all that and more!
Georgie and Jordan thought they had been through so much to get to where they are at now and truly, they really were put through it all. When their story first started off, they couldn’t stand each other, competed against each other, then became teammates having to learn to work together. Little did they know that working together would bring the 8 and 10 together in true love bliss for all the internet to see. Then in their next story they are trying to navigate an engagement, crazy wedding gurus, and getting married. Through so many laughs and trials they had to endure, things started to look a little dismal (like an alpaca watching them get it on or using poop shovels) but soon they found that when they worked together and loved hard they had an unbreakable bond. After becoming happily married and in this story they go off to Fiji for a honeymoon to come home with suspicions that they were becoming a family of 3, well 5 if we count Mr. Tuesday and Faby (which we will discuss later). Scared to death of not being prepared and of failing a child, they embark on a crazy ride that will take them through so many bumps and blowout explosions in a virtual grocery store that no one will be able to forget. They are still super nervous and questioning their abilities, but what I loved the most was the reality that as new parents no one had right answers and everyone was scared to death of the unknown. What these two couldn’t see was that they had each other and together they were a perfect team. They couldn’t see past the baby competition at first to realize that they were treating Mr. Tuesday (their dog) like a child and handled that like true bad A parents. Then we are introduced to their fake baby simulator aka Faby for the baby competition and in true bad A parent fashion they took care of that creepy thing like no one’s business. These guys had things handled it just took some time, family, sexy role play, and eccentric friends for them to figure it all out. I have loved watching this 8 (messy bun girl) and that 10 (king of all a$$ hattery) fall in love, steal my heart, and make me laugh like nothing else. This author is amazing at writing characters that will stay with us forever and make us want to come back to over and over again for some good laughs and lovable moments.

A fun end to the series
While this book tiptoed over the line between screwball and corny comedy a few times, it was the perfect way to end Georgie and Jordan’s journey from animosity to love to family. Faby, a momster who tried to reform but found that her best self was something between Shaolin monk and Denver socialite queen, the hilarity of Jordan and Georgie finding their way toward preparedness for their actual baby (Joyce and the OB!), and even Georgie’s “worst luck in the best place” childbirth experience made for an entertaining read. And this time around, it wasn’t Jordan and Georgie almost falling apart, but everyone and everything around them that caused the chaos. This journey was definitely a fun one and Georgie and Jordan both deserved the happy they found in the end.
