Bought especially for the heavy duty companion works well with any mora companion knives

It Fits and Holds
Fits the Mora Companion well, and has plenty of holes for adding your own attachment method (I've currently got it on pull-dot loops).

Great sheath
I bought this sheath to attach my Mora Companion and Companion HD knives to my pack. I'm extremely pleased with it for that purpose and I did a couple of mods on it to better align with my needs. First of all, I don't like/use belt attachments. I generally have my knives attached to my packs for hiking/camping.......most often, kydex sheaths with Molle attachments. So, I removed the belt clip and then attached a Blade Tech Molle Lok (long) to the sheath. For a sheath this small, one Molle Lok works great. I did have to Dremel the back side of the sheath a bit, in the area of the bulge that locks in the knife. I did that to make the Molle Lok lie as flat as possible so that the two halves of the Lok are touching before it is mounted on my hip belt adjustment straps. Set up like that, it will clamp tightly to the straps. Photos are included to show how the Molle Lok attaches to the sheath. One last note......the sheath has an adjustment feature for the "lock" that holds the knife in the sheath. The top screw can be tightened or loosened according to personal preference. Real nice touch, especially if, like me, you will be using the sheath for both the Companion and Companion HD which have different handle thicknesses.

Good sheath. Belt clip needs work.
This is a pretty nice sheath. It is definitely worth the $20 price. The edges are evenly burnished and the forming is excellent. My Mora Companion fit snugly and had no play. This sheath was for my Bahco branded Companion. It was supposedly made by Mora. Although it looks exactly like the Companion it is a little harder to place in the sheath. It also has a little forward and aft movement. It doesn’t make noise when I have it on my belt, so I cannot complain. With the tension being tight I moved the top screw down a hole. It helped a lot. The tension is perfect now. The clip is held on by a Chicago screw and and tensioned by a thick rubber o-ring. If the clip rotated simply tighten the screw until the o-ring is compressed enough to hold it in place. It a simple, but effective set up. One thing to note, the Blade Tech Tek-Lok will work on this sheath. The holes along the side of the sheath are spaced correctly. The security of the belt clip is where I had issues. Although it has a shelf to designed to catch the belt when the sheath is pulled upward, my leather belt still slipped through. In a last ditch attempt I switched the clip to sit in the lowest adjustment hole. Boom, problem resolved. I deducted a two stars due to the issue. It would be a good idea to clip it over the belt and the waistband also. The ledge does a very good job of catching the waistband on jeans. Overall a decent option to upgrade or replace the factory sheath. Would recommend with the warning about the clip.

Excellent
Finally a secure, affordable sheath for the Mora Companion knife. Adjustment screw allows you to fine tune the retention.

Very good quality sheath
This sheath is really good. High quality kydex. Knife snaps in nicely for really good retention. Good thumb ramp for easy deployment. 1 star off because the clip constantly pops off my belt. This can be changed but haven't found anything suitable to replace it yet. To the maker: Thank you!!!

Great idea with poor execution.
Whats the point of being able to rotate to a tip up carry if it doesn't stay put? Theres absolutely no retention and my screw came pre stripped. Additionally the belt loop feels cheap, pliable, and unsecured. Quite frankly for the sheath to be more expensive than the blade, and not even perform its task effectively is embarrassing. I was really looking forward to this purchase but was at large let down.

But I just moved the top tension Bolt down one hole and know it fits like a glove
I bought this not knowing if this was going to fit my cheap Walmart Mora knife. The Ozark bait knife. I figured it should sense it's a carbon copy of the Mora companion. Well it dose fit. Tight fit at first. But I just moved the top tension Bolt down one hole and know it fits like a glove. $2.98 knife with a $20 dollar decent sheath. Talk about budget hands.
