Q: Can the clip be removed?

Yes. But it does not look like it can be moved to the other side. The knife is beautiful though, and very sharp. Worth every penny.

Q: Does the flipper open the blade all the way?

This knife is not spring loaded. It has ball bearings and is really smooth upon opening, a slight flick of the wrist will open it even faster. However it should open all the way with just your finger action. You can always adjust the tightness if it doesn’t open the way you like. It’s a quality knife and I’m happy with mine. Hope this helps you decide.
