Can I inflate this with my mouth?

I don't understand how people are inflating this with a tire inflater. There is nothing but soft plastic to clamp on to and that doesn't work at all. I ended up inflating by mouth which took maybe 15 minutes. There's a good one way valve that doesn't allow air to just be blown In. I had to compress the plastic tube with my teeth to open the valve so I could blow the air in.
