Great mirror. It appeared cloudy and scratched when it showed up but then I noticed it had protective film on it. It’s perfectly clear as long as you take the protective film off first.

Just as the ones I used in the military. View window to aim sunlight onto an object, string to tether to your pack or belt loop. Perfect size and is a great addition to my equipment.

I mean come on, something like this may save your life one day. You get two for the price of one not to mention the whistle attached. These are in my ditch bag on my boat. It definitely gives me a peace of mind.

In our go-bags and car emergency kits. They take very little room and do signal well. A great plus is that these have instructions. I have one in my backpacks for solo hiking. I hope we never need them. But being ready is having some peace of mind. And it’s not like they are never used- one was a pretty good mirror to evaluate scrapes on my face during a hike.

One mirror is fine. The other arrived with a defect in the mirror surface. It looks like a smug, covering approximately 15% of the mirror. It will not clean off. I actually appears to be under the clear covering that is attached over the mirror.
