Very tiny and this can't can't be used for magnet fishing as advertised. Don't buy cos it's a waste of funds

DIYMAG Super Strong Neodymium Fishing Magnets, 200 lbs. (90 KG) "DOESN'T MEET" the specifications it has mentioned with the product. The Pulling Force is much lesser than the claim by the manufacturer!

Stuck it to the tool box after it arrived. Seemed ok - it sticks to sheet metal. I have a 10lb block of steel I use for a mini anvil. Was using it, looked at the magnet stuck to the toolbox - magnet & steel, oh yeah. Eased the magnet gently onto the block - rotating from one edge - gentle until about 30*. Then I had a magnet stuck to my mini anvil that wasn't moving. It was happily stuck there and no strength of hand was going to move it. Actually had to figure out a way to get it off the block. Definitely not a toy. So it might have 300 lbs of pull. I don't doubt it's north of 200lbs. I have no way to tell without spending money on a force gauge I don't think I need.....

Be careful not to get this stuck on flat magnetic surfaces. It will be very hard to get back off. I use this to keep a nylon measuring tape on the side of a grain bin and if I'm not careful it scratches paint trying to get it back off. If you need a strong magnet, this works.

I didn't have a way to test this all the way up to 200 lbs, but I tested it with all the heavy stuff I could find. Most people buy this sort of magnet to go fishing for "treasure" under water. I think these magnets would be great for that purpose. Whether or not it actually holds 200 lbs is kind of irrelevant when it comes to fishing - would you want to try to lug a 200 lb item up onto your boat (or bridge) via a rope? I believe this magnet is quite strong enough to pull up anything you find under water and would want to retrieve. Please see attached video.

Received this magnet a few days ago. It was well-packaged with plenty of soft foam padding to keep it safe. After opening it I stuck it to a few small items around the kitchen: a metal bowl, a fork, and my watch band. It seemed to work pretty well. I then stuck it to the refrigerator door. It was a strong magnetic force and I was easily able to use the magnet to open the door. So... I took it out to give magnet fishing a try. We went to a small bridge near our house and walk down the bank beside the bridge (the bridge is too narrow to stand on with cars going by). Anyway, I stuck the magnet to a large bridge girder. HOLY COW! I could ALMOST not get it off! I'm a pretty big, strong guy (6'3" and 270 former college football player) and it took me a few tries to get it separated. At first, I didn't even know if I would be able to remove it. Needless to say, this thing has some real pull! I made sure not to throw it close to the bridge because I was pretty sure I wouldn't be able to pull it off using the rope. In summation, I highly recommend this magnet! Great "smaller" magnet for a fantastic price!
