I needed some spline to replace the screen on a patio door and saw this item on Amazon with the 100' length for about the same cost as typical 25' spline packages so I figured I would try this and have more left over for future projects. This spline is less dense than other spline I have used, which made it easy to install and easy to cut. However, I suspect that the extra flexibility could leave it more vulnerable to popping out under some circumstances. Nevertheless, this worked fine for my needs and it was a very good deal, so I would recommend this.

Worked well enough, but I am not sure that the design holds as tightly as it should (no, I didn't use a spline size too small as it had to be worked into the channel.). perhaps the barbed type lines on the side could be taller.

I have Anderson screens that have metal “splines”. This was the right thickness to replace it when I changed out the screen. It’s nice and sturdy but flexible and easy to use. I recommend it.

This spline worked really well to place the screen mesh into the frame. You have to really make sure which size should be working for you. 0.125" or 0.175" or something else. My frame required 0.175". It worked perfectly.
