It’s surprisingly completely silent I expected atleast some noise but found none. It’s aesthetic for muted colored cages. My mouse runs on it but he uses it as a hide😭. He’s slowly gotten more interested with treats. Totally worth every penny, cheap and does eveything the description says.

The cage we purchased for our Syrian hamster came with a wheel, but he didn’t like it. We purchased this ones d he’s on it all night! It’s very quiet so doesn’t keep up awake either. Easy to set up and clean.

It’s a good quality wheel! but it’s too big for the hamster I bought (robo dwarf) she has a hard time getting it to turn

Compared to the squeaky hamster wheel that came with our starter hamster habitat, this one is much quieter and our nearby animals can sleep better through the night. The surface is large enough for our dwarf hamster to get a full sprint in comfortably. The angle of the wheel is great for the hamster with the exception of it taking up a lot of floor space in his cage. It also tends to accumulate dust from the dust bath nearby, but it’s easy to clean. It’s sturdy and does the job. It’s a good value, but will take a lot of room in a smaller cage.

Couldn't use it. No instructions on how to assemble and clearly missing an important component in order to secure the saucer to the stand.

My hammy was not a fan at all. I think she just saw it as unstable ground. Seemed decent quality. No noise.

honestly, my hamster would give a five star review for this if he could type. this was simultaneously the best thing i ever did for his well being and the worst thing i ever did for mine. he LOVES this things, i’m talking running for hours on end. totally cured any bar chewing i had going on (there was a period were i was waiting for some new stuff to come in and he was lacking for a few days, the boredom chewing was so sad to listen to). however, if your hamster is in your room beware. it’s not necessarily noisy itself (a little oil helped any minor noise) but the sound of the little guys feet on the plastic… god help you if you’re a light sleeper. whatever, happy hamster happy life.

I can't hear it running even when it has 6 or more mice running on it at the same time. The way it is made also allows 2 mice to hide under the base. I cannot see it being large enough for animals larger than mice as it would not be large enough and will become very unsteady. My mice seem to be coming up with more 'games' with the wheel jumping over or onto other mice, being spun around while others run, going in opposite directions to see who wins, spin the others off, etc. It is the best thing as far as my field mice show me.

This says it's good for a variety of different small pets, but in reality, it's really only good for a roborovski hamster or a mouse. It's so tiny. Too much trouble to return, but it is silent (the only reason why it received two stars instead of one). I may try replacing the disc with something larger.
