For the past year and a half I used a "safety" razor... you know the kind your grandpa used... after reading reviews about how much closer a shave with a "safety" razor is and how much more economical it is... not to mention the nostalgia of it all. I found myself avoiding using it, instead opting for my electric razor. I would also use my electric razor to "prep" my face for a shave with that razor. The reason? It scares me. Not in the horrific sense, but it caused way more nicks and a whooooole lotta itching. I have since gone back to THIS disposable razor and it's been so wonderful not hearing "psycho" music in my head when I reach for my razor. These blades and razor are both economical AND practical. I get a close shave and I don't have to feel like I'm trying out for the movie "Face Off" when I'm done. It really is a great shave.

I have ordered theses blades for my husband a number of times he is very happy with them he says there is no pulling of the skin leaves his skin in tact

In Amazon very expensive....but it is the best razors ever.
