For these shorts the XL, but they are youth. I would suggest looking at the product in the adult sizes (probably a small pr medium) which may work better for your height

Q: Do they have pockets?

No, they do not have pockets, but my 5th grade granddaughter really likes them for Gym Shorts.

Q: Are these tumbling shorts ( for cheer)?

No - they do not have a liner or spandex shorties underneath.

Q: Can you swim with them?

I suppose you could wear them over your swim suit, but they could not stand alone as a swim suit. Not lined. They would probably dry fast. We don't use them for that, though.
