Great headlight restore kit- Does not come with drill attachment
I have used the drill 3M kit a couple of times and it works spectacularly. I was disappointed to find this particular kit does not have the drill attachment and is basically a refill kit. Great kit, just make sure you have the attachment!

Very Good kit easy
It takes about 40 min too do both head lights removes all the pitting from road dirt they look like new need to tape around headlamps to protect the finishes around the lamps

Use water when sanding
I started with 400 grit wet dry sandpaper and a hose to rinse headlight and sandpaper to prevent clogging. My headlights were really bad and yellow. Residue at first came off yellow with the first quick sanding with the 400 grit. Then proceeded with supplied papers continuing to use the water rinse. Residue started to turn white. ( starting to get down to a healthy plastic layer. ) Took some elbow grease. Once you get to the 2000 and 3000 grit you really started to see a difference. Proceeded with rubbing compound. Results were fantastic. This particular kit is to be used by hand and it worked. Threw some wax on after. 2007 Honda Ridgeline. Wish I took photo's.

It’s missing key components
This product is unusable without the drill adapter so don’t waste your money on this product

Might be a knock off
I've used a lot of 3m kits in the past, but I've never had the sanding disks fall apart on me. Good price, so so quality

Decent results with elbow grease only (no drill)
Bought 3M Headlight Restoration Kit, Medium Duty 2-Pack for about $30 after tax.Each pack contains a few 500 and 800 grit sanding papers, a 1000 and 3000 grit sanding foam pads (one of each), two things of rubbing compounds, a foam sanding paper handler, and a manual.The manual was easy enough to follow. I spent about an hour on each headlight, sanding them manually using the provided foam handler and papers/pads, without any drills or sanders. I used the reverse of the foam handler to apply the rubbing compound and it was good enough.I used the kits on a pair of headlights that spent the last 10 or so years in direct sunlight. Overall I'm quite happy with the results. We'll see how long it'll last.
