Nice But - Well Two Buts
These cork placemats are very pretty and look in person just as shown in the picture. There are two reasons I don't give them 5 stars although I love how they are packaged very well to protect them in transit. First reason is they arrive really stinky and I had to leave them outside for one whole week before the stinkiness was gone and they could come inside. Second problem is they discolor from water stains real easy and then they don't look as good as new any more. The cork and strength is great but the picture on the front gets dark stains on them.

This is a set of 4 cork backed placemats with a heat resistant finish in a neutral shell pattern. They are quite lovely in person. They work very well, holding plate, utensils and drink easily. Cork backed placemats are the way to go. They last for years and years and are easy to wipe clean. Get a few sets and change them out for fun, Rockflowerpaper has so many designs to choose from there is one for any decor.

We’ve used cork-backed placemats for years and love their durability. They are easy to care for—just wipe clean and don’t allow liquid to pool on them so the tops don’t discolor. Recommended.
