I’ve been using the same black eye mask to sleep for over ten years. I purchase from Amazon and have been very happy. Not until I purchased the pillow cases-which I’ll leave a Five Star review on another post, did I realize how mediocre of be settling for. This mask is so soft and thick and created no pressure on the eyes what’s so ever. I like how they cover from the forehead down to the eyes vs. just covering eyebrows to eye socket bone. The two prong strap around your head I was really on the fence, but boy this is truly why/where this works. No more sideways, down around my mouth, or completely fallen off. The packaging appears to be very high end, (think boutique) with complete washing instructions. I was so happy, I bought a second one and will pass this information on to my sisters, and friends as they are nurses who have a hard time falling asleep, and staying asleep. No more melatonin, or black out shades, drapes and scotch tape to keep an inkling of light out. I’m an RN, wife, mom, and grandmother. And this is NOT a paid review. I want you to be happy like I am.

I bought this for my wife as she is very sensitive to light in the bedroom. She loved it from the minute she placed it over her eyes and lay down in bed. The silky inside makes it very comfortable. The little rolled up "pillow" at the bottom of the eye mask does not let a single ray of light enter and the head straps adjust so gently she's hardly aware they are in place.She says that they eye mask has given her the best sleeps of her life!

! I am a repeat purchaser. I'm a huge Fishers Finery Fan, having purchased not only this mask but several pillowcases as well. Purchased another brand which was 22 Momme Silk but was single sided silk fabric, the reverse side was rough... wasted $$. I put the mask in a lingerie bag to machine wash, and hang to dry. I rotate and wash them regularly and have experienced no wear in fabric. I also have one reserved in my suitcase for travel. I always order black... in my mind it's more light blocking. The silk covered elastic back strap is comfortable and easy on hair... some masks have velcro which ultimately pulls and tangles in my hair. Some have elastic bands (yuck) which are hard on hair cuticles, and others have a clip or fastener which is difficult to sleep on.

This is so different than what I've worn in the past that I didn't think I'd like it. It took me a couple of times to adjust. It is padded, so it's soft and thick. It is larger than what I'm used to and totally blocks the light at the bottom. It is easy to adjust and VERY comfortable!!! I'm trying to think of who I can purchase this for a gift!!!
