Imitation Vanilla, Butter and Nut Flavor - 8 Ounce Bottle

This is my go to flavor to make my mom’s favorite pound cake. Moist and delicious

I liked this product and I use this product in some of my Christmas baking.. I was very pleased with this flavoring.

I use this product mostly for one purpose. There was a time that Cool Whip had a French Vanilla Flavor. I got hooked on the flavor of watermelon fruit salad (watermelon, grapes, strawberries, blueberries, cherries) with French Vanilla Cool Whip and granola on top. I ran out of regular Cool Whip one day and used FV variety and was stunned by the flavor combo of vanilla and watermelon. They continued to produce FV Cool Whip for a couple years and then bang - it was done. So I tried various methods to make my own and settled on a combo of Dr. Oekter's Vanilla Sugar and, ultimately Silver Cloud Butter and Nut Flavor. It's not an exact replica but it is close enough. I also occasionally add to butterscotch pudding ice cream pies. (Frozen desert) I add a bit to the pudding/ice cream/milk base.

I liked the taste of this product in my dessert. I will definitely buy it again when I run out.

Taste is good but it’s expensive

I used McCormick's Vanilla Butter & Nut Flavor for many years and just loved the great taste in my baking of cakes, pies and cookies. They discontinued the product and I searched extensively for another brand. Found yours and it is just as good and I feel it may be even better. Bought one for my sister-in-law and she is very pleased. Love the flavor. I'm going to purchase extra bottles just in case you discontinue it also. Thank you for saving me.

Since McCormick is no longer available in stores, I am glad to find a substitute, however it is definitely a substitute. I find the taste a bit medicinal and less pleasing. The color is more orangy where I much prefer the yellow of the McCormick. I will use this until the McCormick becomes available again but will definitely go back if it does.

Have looked for the vanilla butter nut flavoring I remembered from when I was a kid for quite some time. Perfect for my sticky popcorn, plain vanilla doesn’t cut it! Yummy!
