Can the shelves be mounted upside down to make a flat shelf without a lip?

No! While technically you could slide the metal shelves onto the legs upside-down from bottom to top with the plastic fasteners upside-down, the shelf would not be stable at all; it would fall if too much pressure were put on it. If you want the shelf to be stable and have the fasteners work as intended, you need to install the shelf correctly, which leaves a lip. If you don't want the lip I would suggest a piece of wood or counter-top material cut to fit. You could install the basket on the bottom, one shelf right-side up near the top, and then just let the last shelf rest upside-down on the other shelf. But then you lose a shelf.

What is the thread size on the casters?

4 inch diameter wheel casters with threaded 3/8" diameter stems. 3/8" x 16 x 1" stems, where 16 is number of threads per inch of stem.

Can it be assembled without the handle bar?

yes，the handle bar is detachable

How many inches is the top shelf's lip's height?

It is 1 1/4", but, if you want no "lip", when assembling. it can be put in upside down, & have no "lip". LOVE this cart. Bought 3! SO easy to put together.

Great products

Easy to set up, commercial style castors too. Great job! Ours came damaged, from the delivery, with a crease in the 2nd shelf- but that’s not the fault of the manufacturer. I can say that the manufacturer did a great job in packaging, including styrofoam and spacing, but I don’t think it could have withstood someone with the will to drive over it. Driver -1, packaging-0, knockout!
