I bought this not knowing if it would be for me as an adult collector, or for my son as a continuing exploration of cool stuff from every era. Now that I have it, I could not be more undecided on collecting it or gifting it. The price point makes it work either way. I am not sure how many they made, but the other characters seemed to be sold out in a way that makes me hope they did not over-manufacture this line and cripple the collectors' value. Oh well, it probably won't even make it until Christmas before I give it to my son. It's still beautifully old school no matter if you open and play with it, or just look at the great packaging. When I hear the word "action figure," I am picturing a figure like this, that is sold hard plastic, that only moves at the arm and leg joints, and that can survive a lawn mower (albeit fairly maimed, given). This is just a wonderful object that was worth the money to me to just hold in my hand and feel amazed at the simple beauty of its design. If you were alive in the days when this type of figure was common, this will mean a lot to you. The graphics may be slightly new, but the toy and the vibe of it is as classic as it gets!

I'm a collector, so I was delighted to see this figure and its packaging arrived in perfect condition. Even the spindle hole was not punched out!
