14 Ounce Mustache Moscow Mule Mug - 100% Copper Enhancing The Taste And Freshness Of Any Beverage - Unique present for Him or Her

I discovered the Moscow Mule cocktail for the 1st time in my life (unbelievable!) while vacationing solo in San Diego. I loved the cocktail and the places that offered it always put it in a cold, frosty copper mug. So, when I returned to Chicago, I HAD to get some for my bar. These mugs are perfect - classic size, food-safe lacquer coating makes them durable and I love the seamless hygienic interior. They are exactly as described online and arrived in a timely fashion - good thing - I was THIRSTY! :)

i understand how many people would want larger mugs, because hey, bigger is better. right? personally, i think these mugs are the perfect size for use in a commercial setting like a bar. yes, a 'mule is supposed to be served in a 16-20 oz copper mug, but that borders on ridiculously large for being used in a bar. the recipe i use for the mule calls for 2 oz of vodka per 6 oz of ginger beer, in a mug filled with ice. the ice required to fill a container loosely translates to the volume of one half of the container. our cocktail pricing is built upon 1 1/2 oz of alcohol per serving (which is a standard amount in many cocktail recipes), so that actually translates down perfectly to a 12 oz mug. also, with the conduction of the copper, these cocktails melt off quickly, so a smaller container means less warmup time over the life of the cocktail. if we decide to buy more of these mugs for the bar, i wouldn't buy anything larger than 12 oz. i would probably use 16 oz mugs at home though :)as for the mug itself, i have yet to find a better price for a 100% copper mug anywhere online (tbh, i've only been looking for a week or so). at the time of the sale, i bought these for $10 +shipping. these mugs are simple, no fancy hammering or customized look about them. they come individually packed in a thin cardboard box, triple-wrapped in paper and cellophane for protection. the finish on them keeps them from discoloring, which isn't really what i was looking for, but they still look brand new after several washings. i'm very happy with them at this point, but if that changes, i will come back and update this review accordingly.

This mug is absolutely beautiful! The pure copper is so much more elegant than the other Moscow Mule mugs that are usually copper plated. The material and craftsmanship is of the highest quality.The 12 oz size is on the small size compared to other copper mugs, but I think it's the perfect size for a cocktail and fits nicely in my small kitchen cabinets.Cheers!!!

Great and fun mug! Only thing is that the mug is very thinly lined with an outside copper coat and there are already a few spots where you can see the copper has chipped, exposing the layer beneath the copper. Otherwise, the picture is true to the product and all my friends love my mug! Drinks stay very cold in it too!

I orded two of these little guys. I received one as ordered and one hammered, rounded, larger copper mug by mistake that I like much more. They're nice little mugs but I wouldn't buy this size if you're buying for "Moscow Mules" and the like unless you enjoy making little drinks, lots of times. Once you add ice there's not much room for the cocktail. I would spend the extra money and buy the larger sizes. I would have been pretty disappointed if I didn't receive the larger, hammered mug by mistake! It works perfectly. I'll probably order 3 more of those to complete a small set.

I ordered a couple of the Mustache mule mugs for a Movember celebration for my Dad. His mustache just starting growing back after chemo/radiation this summer to treat throat cancer. I wanted to get something fun to give him and these awesome copper mugs were the ticket. They came well packaged with each mug in an individual box. The mugs are good quality. The mustache is in the position shown in the photo ( you have to hold the mug with your left hand to see it). My Mom was excited to see they were dishwasher safe.

The handle on this mug is attached to the cup by some sort of brazing,soldering, or other technique and it was not properly connected at the base. Just a defect in the manufacture. I ordered two of these and sent this one back and kept the other. The mug is a little small for the Mule cocktail because of the amount of ice. The 16 oz. size, which i ordered from another company, which has riveted handles, is just perfect.

Was much smaller than I wanted but beautiful cup. Good service, my granddaughter loves it, perfect size for her.

I really like the tubular handle. Compared to others it has agood grasping area and is attached skilfully. Smooth finish and pure copper. Will get a larger size as well. Good value great simple design.

These mugs look great and the price was fair but we ordered 10 and one arrived with the handle unattached and a second one has already fallen off. We returned the one that arrived damaged and Amazon was easy to deal with on it all. I just don't have the time to package up and return the other one. Hopefully the other ones will last just a wee bit longer!

Not what the prod description led me to believe. These are very nice lloking but not dishwasher safe and cannot be used with hot liquids. Kinda disappointed. Am using as decorations now.

I really liked ( pass tense) the cup I received until the handle detached will hand washing it after 1 week of use
