We used this to strain boiled ground turkey for our dog who had an allergy to all other proteins. We wanted minimal fat and this was the first strainer we could find which didn't allow too much fat to come through when we strained the broth. It works like a charm; the mesh is very tiny. We popped it in the dishwasher to clean, it never bent or came out dirty even though the mesh is small. A gem of a product.

I use this for straining more than just coffee. I pair this with a mason jar funnel and use it anytime I need bits/floaties strained out of something. Great for when tea leaves escape into my morning earl gray. A quick strain, and then rinse and then put it back on the shelf. Great quality. I imagine it might break if I pushed it too hard while washing, but I haven't had any problems with durability while treating it properly.

I bought this to filter pulp from juice and apple cider vinegar.. this filter works so well. Easy to clean and can toss into the dishwasher. The filter is so fine I have to pre strain orange juice ... Zero pulp got through this filter ... Wish it was a larger size but works great.

I use it for making infused oils. Filters the oil going into the bottle really well, just get youself a funnel that matches the size of the strainer.

After using it for about 3 months average no more than twice a week, there was hole torn up on the edge. While it works, it strains liquid very well because the mesh is very fine. Wish it was more durable.

It's the only fine mesh coffee enema filter on Amazon right now. Just within a couple months the mesh disconnected from the metal frame admittedly from user error. The handles eventually break off too. Just be gentle with it. It's also a bit shallow, I'm used to a slightly deeper dip. Edit: I’ve ordered more since this original review, the dip is better in the newer ones I got so YMMV

This filter works great for filtering fresh milk from the cow without using disposable filters.
