Microplane Colossal Foot File - Black

I was doubting getting this foot file. I've always had issues in the past with normal files and they never got soft enough. I usually bought electric, but always lose the cord and the file all together. My feet haven't been this soft since I was a teenager. I am 29 years old and always had dry feet. Age is a cruel mistress, the older you get, the dryer.This file made me feel like cheese it cut through so well. This file removed my calluses and the dirt stains collected over the years. It got to the point I was willing to pay salon prices. I was scratching myself and my husband with my feet. After watching YouTube and sitting, filing for 30 minutes, my feet feel buttery soft.This file is worth the money and the time filing. It won't even taken you hours like most methods. The file is sturdy and durable, this thing took a beating from me. I am aggressive with my belongings. I'd give this file a few years before it croaks and even then, it's cheapish. If you had doubts, this is the review for you. I would give it more stars if I could. (Photos for reference)

OK, this is my first review ever ! but felt this was necessary. As a sufferer of hyperkeratosis I have struggled with very hardened skin on my feet and to lesser extent fingers. I have coped with the pain since my teens and I am now in my late 40's. Hardcore prescriptions creams have minimal effect. On private health I was recommended a glass file (which was a waste of time) and a potent pill worked but had serious side effects (making my lip crack and bleed). I currently use a rotary tool with a podiatry burr with some success but not enough to change my attitude to hiding meet :-) This product is a game changer (AND i don't use these words lightly) ! With minimal effort on the first try, I was able to reveal what my feet should look like. I now need to buy some flip flops !!! The amazing thing is that it is gentle enough to be used by anybody and not just chronic sufferers. The coarse blade is fast, effective and controlled by the pressure you apply. On the basis of this result I also bought the Microplane Foot XL which has a buffer blade that is an effect post-smoother that is so light that it could conceivably be used to exfoliate your skin. The Foot XL also has the same coarse blade (interchangeable) as the colossal but is much smaller. I highly recommend this product and will inform my GP so that others can benefit with this revolutionary product.

It simply works. Don't get scared by some reviews. Of course I was careless once, & felt sore. One must give it respect. Always be gentle. Wet, oiled feet works better than dry (injury is t totally avoided, this way).

Excellent product for your feet. Smoothes off rough skin painlessly. Good result.
