Try another company, alginate quality is disappointing and so are the instructions.
Based on my experience, I'd buy alginate from a different company next time. The package had handwritten notes scribbled over the printed instructions though it hardly mattered though, since those notes didn't match the website they referenced, and the website didn't match the video. Also the pour came out lumpy even though I followed the videos instructions.

Best product to use for molding a baby hand/feet.
I used this product to make hand and feet mold of my one year old baby. It was super easy to use. If you want to work on a slower pace, I'd recommend using room temperature water. If you can work quickly then use warm water. I experimented with both temperatures and found that room temperature was much easier to use. It took a bit longer to set but ensure no mistakes because you don't have to rush. Best time is when baby is sleeping. It's impossible to do it when baby is awake. 😊👶

First time users please read.
I want to start off with please read the instructions on the back carefully! I did not and my first two tries failed from being too lumpy but still set and were well textured. Use cold distilled water if you want about 60 seconds for more working time. I used a wisk and got fewer lumps in the 3rd batch but solved that with a cheap blinder. I used cold distilled water first before turning on the blender before adding the powder. That minimized both lumps and bubbles in roughly 10 to 15 seconds before pouring the mixture slowly as to let any remaining bubbles escape. Just try not to take too long because even with cold water the set time is still only about 5 or so minutes. Overall this product is fantastic! With the amount of detail it can hold, and with a little practice its well worth the price!

Okay…
If you’re used to working with alginate, you’ll find this to be a nice, quick-setting product. If you aren’t used to alginate or require a little more time before setting, try something else. I use alginate for face casts and this one was solid, but set a little too quickly. I found if I worked in small batches, it was better but remixing alginate while someone is under it, waiting, is a little nerve-wracking. If you want something that sets very quickly & firmly, this is your stuff…
