Zuke's Mini Naturals Dog Training Treats, Beef Recipe, 16 oz Pouch

My small dog loves these and I really like that they are TINY SIZED and low calorie. Also, they are "natural" and my dog does so well w/ these treats!

We've regularly used Zukes as part of our training process for dogs from Chihuahuas to Australian Cattle Dogs. They're the perfect size, and can easily be broken in half with your fingers for portion/reward size. They come in multiple flavor profiles so that you can find the right one for your dog or switch things up when they get temporarily bored of one flavor profile. They're soft-ish but you can also dry them out to make them more firm if you want. The ingredients are excellent, and Zukes provides a handy reference breakdown of what's in each one.

These little training treats are great! My dog loves them. We keep them handy so we can reward her for good behaviors. I like the fact that they are small so we have no need to be concerned about giving her too many calories. The price is good, you get a lot for the money. I recommend them for training dogs.

My two dogs get so excited over these and very quickly they have become my go-to treats for training. Every time they hear me open the bag they come whipping around the corner. I have two dogs, a 6-year-old Australian Shepherd (50lbs) and 4-year-old mixed terrier (30lbs). I had bought these last week after researching healthier training treats. I have been using them not only for ongoing training of commands and tricks, but I have also found many other uses for them as well. They work well inside brain stimulation toys and inside a pet camera that tosses treats, because they are small enough. These treats are just a little smaller than average sized dry dog food. They are small enough to use often to reward good behavior without guilt. My dogs have not had any problems chewing or swallowing them during training sessions and they do not have a super strong odor. It was especially important for me to find dog treats that were healthy. I appreciate these treats being made and sourced within the USA, but also, they are made without any artificial coloring, flavors, or by-products. I can tell this brand genuinely cares about the quality of their treats, as well as my dog's health. My Australian Shepherd has a sensitive stomach, and I have not noticed any digestive problems since I started giving him these, so that is very reassuring. The bag they come in is resealable to keep them fresh, and so far, it has been doing its job. I have not noticed any dryness or crumbling inside the bag as of now. I also noticed there is a lot of separate flavors available. I like changing up the flavors, so my dogs do not get bored. I am excited for them to try more! What I like about these: * Easy to chew during training * 2 calories per treat * No strong smell * Doesn't crumble or fall apart * Resealable bag keeps them fresh * Made with quality ingredients * They're versatile (training, enrichment toys, treat cameras) One thing I should mention, I did expect them to be a little softer. They are not as hard as dry dog food, but they are also not soft enough to squish in your fingers. I can fit many of them in my training pouch, and I will absolutely be ordering more, and trying out other flavors as well!

Zuke’s Mini Naturals have become the MVP of my dog’s training routine. They’re the perfect size for rewards, and my dog goes absolutely wild for them. I’m convinced he’d sign a contract to do my taxes if I just keep handing him these little beef-flavored delights. They’re soft and chewy, which is great for quick training sessions because they’re easy for him to eat without pausing to gnaw. Plus, at just 2 calories per treat, I don’t feel guilty when I inevitably hand out more than I planned. The resealable pouch is handy too—keeps them fresh for those high-stakes “sit” and “stay” moments. The only reason it’s not 5 stars? They dry out a bit if you don’t close the bag properly. But honestly, that’s a minor issue for how much my dog loves them.

I've had my 4-month old maltipoo since he was only 6 weeks old. He's previously enjoyed the Blue Buffalo Blue Bits Natural Soft-Moist Dog Training Treats, as well as the Cloud Star Soft & Chewy Buddy Biscuits Dog Treats. He absolutely loved both of those packages to the very last crumb. Then I found Zuke's while looking for a cheaper alternative because those other products seemed expensive. It turns out they are because Zuke's is significantly cheaper in the 6 ounce package, and even more of a value in the 1 pound which I plan to order next. My puppy loves them just as much as the others (it's impossible to tell if he loved one more than the other) , and I like them too because they're healthy, made in the USA, and extremely well-reviewed on Amazon. Although some people here complained about the "powerful" smell in their reviews, I actually love it because it's the aroma of natural, healthy ingredients and it makes my puppy go bonkers. After going through an entire package, I actually think the potent smell is great now. Not in a delicious, I want to eat a handful way, but more of a wow - these really are substantial and delicious treats for my dog, not some weird synthetic junk mashed together in a factory overseas. Some people also complained about the texture, and how they get hard after being left out. To me, these are also signs that the treats are healthy and made with positive ingredients. I would be suspicious if the treats maintained their original composition after being left out for a while, or if they lacked a strong, noticeable smell. And given the convenient, easily resealable package that Zuke's come in, I fail to see how they're getting hardened after being left out is truly a flaw with the product. Even when they're slightly hard my puppy still loves them, and the fact that they take him longer to chew is probably a good thing! Zuke's Mini Naturals are also very easy to break up into halves (or thirds), to stuff in treat/meal dispensers or kongs, etc. I now plan to continue ordering them as my puppy's primary treat for the rest of his life, while experimenting with other flavors besides roasted chicken. I should add that I also mix in Wellness Just for Puppy Treats and Old Mother Hubbard Puppy Classic Crunchy Biscuits with Zuke's minis, mainly because the former two are tailored just to puppies, and also for the sake of variety. While I don't think my puppy would mind if he ate Zuke's exclusively, my current rotation seems to be working great (in addition to his normal meals of dry kibble of course, and nightly rawhide/dental chews).

The holiday flavours are dogs favorite so I was happy to find them
