Pleco Treats, Disc-Shaped Supplement Bottom Feeders, Strengthens Overall Development, Supports Better Digestion, 2.8 oz. per Pack

This is just one of the many pleco foods I have on rotation. I use this as a more mid day treat in between feedings. My bottom feeders seem to enjoy it quite a bit.

I don't know what is really in these, but some of my fish are very picky and usually won't eat a wafer but he loves these..

My Gibbiceps pleco is huge, and he seems to love these.I fed him Hikari for years, and was looking for a treat to keep him interested, as he went on a hunger strike for several weeks. I sprinkled these in and he went right for them! They have a chocolate/garlic aroma..My only gripe is that they are small, about 3/8" so they float around the tank for a while befire they fall, and he can't hold onto one and scrape it with his "teeth" . I dont think its as healthful, as well because he injests waste as he forages, however it's been a week and he's been going straight to the food, eats for a long time period, and is definitely more active. So I shouldn't complain.Just wish they were bigger, say 3/4" so they will all fall in the same spot, and he would be able to see them better.

My baby pleco can smell these from half way across my 40 gallon tank and will come hunting it. When he finds it, he will dart in and out, playing with it a little before settling down for his snack. He REALLY loves these little wafers.

I was given a pleco after my cousin passed and I don't think he was given algea wafers or anything similar but the first night I put one in the tank he had no problem figuring out it was food. Some nights he eats a whole one, other nights he only eats half in which I then check the tank at night to make sure he hasnt eaten it throughout the day and if he hasn't I will just let him finish the rest and put a new one in the next night. Only down side is after it sets in the tank for a longer then a day then it tends to start dissolving and leaves algea all over the tank where it was sitting at so if they don't eat it soon enough then you may have to clean your tank a bit more often the normal but overall a great purchase!

My snail loves these. He is in with my betta. I only put 3-4 pellets in at a time and only a couple times a week. They take a few days to dissolve so daily is probably not needed. My snail is busy eating algae normally. This is like giving my dog an occasional milk bone.
