Fit and worked perfect

I recently purchased this carburetor, air filter, and spark plug kit for my riding lawnmower, and I couldn't be more satisfied. Carb was purchased for replacement for the craftsman l1000 that was leaking fuel out of the fuel shut off at the bottom. I would have given a 5 out of 5 if I didn't have to remove the fuel shut off to clear the frame and slide the carb on first then put the fuel shut off back on after it was on the 2 screws. If you are handy with tools, you won't have an issue. If you aren't buy the oem so it will just be a direct replacement with no extra steps. Worth the savings though

Did now work. Engine would not idle smoothly. I took the needle valve off the new carb and put it on my old carb. Now it runs fine

Lawn mower has been in our family for some time.. no way was it at the end of its life. It was determined it needed a new carburetor. We came to Amazon for the most economical purchase.. thus far we've had no issues it's only been and use for a couple of cuts the weather's been so dry. Hopefully it will last a long time.. this is one of those things you just don't get out and use over and over and over again within 30 days sometimes
