These are EXACTLY what I wanted. Especially the zippered pocket. They are long enough to be discreet and not too long to be uncomfortable. IF you are working out on a mat (sit-ups, leg lifts, etc) you might want some spandex liners, but for everyday wear, or cardio workouts, these are great. They have a tie-string if you need it, too.These are also comfy and discreet enough to be good casual wear too. And the zippered pocket lets you put a credit card/id/room key/etc in your pocket without the worry of it falling out. These are just what I was looking for. SIDE NOTE: If you need shorts that are within 3in of your knee, these will not work...but they are not "hot-pant" shorts either. I plan to order more!SIDE NOTE: The pocket is NOT big enough to accommodate most current cell phone sizes and still zip. I can put my phone in my pocket, but I can't zip it. I can use it if I am walking around, but the phone sticks out of the pocket. If this is important to you, please take this into account.

Light weight and washes well. Nice and cool for summer hot days.

These are about mid thigh on me and I'm 5 foot. I had hoped they would be a bit longer. Otherwise, they are very comfortable and I love the zipper mesh pockets. The material is fairly durable and easy to clean. I do think they are a good value for the price. I got these as summer shorts as I live in the very hot Phoenix Valley and they are comfortable even when outside. Due to their length though, chafing can be an issue if wearing when it's hot and you're moving around a lot.

I bought this set for vacation and loved the price and selection within the set. I like the different color options to go with different tops. The zipper pockets are great for hiking or working out. Functional drawstring and elastic waistband makes these comfortable and practical. As a 5’4” female these fit true to size, and come about mid thigh. They are loose fitting and aren’t tight around the thigh. They definitely ride up while walking so spandex undershorts would be a plus if looking to use these for more intense activities.
