I was disappointed in the CP filter on my SIgma 150-600 C shooting with a Canon 5D Mark IV. I just could not get sharp detailed photos through this filter shooting in daylight. If I take the filter off I get tack sharp images. With this CP filter on I was thinking the lens was not focusing, but it was, focal points locked. The image quality wasn't great through this CP filter. Having this filter on my lens blew a good hour and a half of shooting this morning. Images are lacking detail great feather detail, fur detail, shooting in bright sun light using a Canon 5D Mark IV and the Sigma 150-600. When I took the filter off, the camera and lens by themselves were producing stunning images. It may just be a bad combination on this camera and a lens at 600mm and f/8.I have been shooting for many years and am very experienced at photography. I am familiar with shooting with CP filters. I have used a Ziekos brand CP filter on other lenses and same camera, Canon 100-400 L, 24-70 f/2.8 L, 17-40mm L. Tamron 70-200 and Sigma 50mm lenses and gotten excellent results. I needed a 95mm filter for this big Sigma, but this filter is not producing the image IQ I need. I should not have tried using a $25 filter in front of this gear. Sorry to have to give this a poor review but this is my honest opinion, I was hoping for a better result. You get what you pay for. I can not recommend this particular CP filter for use with a Sigma 150-600mm C lens with the Canon 5D Mark IV in my personal opinion. Maybe it would be a bit better on a camera without an Anti-Aliasing filter, but there is some IQ loss going on, noticeable if zooming in and cropping. I am not saying you can't get an OK landscape with this filter, but it is putting a $25 filter in front of a $1200 lens.

Not good on a 15mm Irix lens

Highly useful for long-range photos of birds on the water with lots of reflected sunlight.
