I suspected I had perhaps not been sent a new item but one that had been pre-owned as it arrived only in its own box - and that was badly torn. Having no extra packaging for an electrical and fairly fragile product would have offered no protection from rain had it been left on the doorstep. i appreciate Amazon are trying to cut down on packaging costs but this seemed rather taking it to extremes. Luckily I was at home when it was delivered so it did not have to stay outside for more than a few minutes- and it wasn’t raining.I was pleased when I retrieved the item from its tatty box, it was in full working order and seems to do a good job. It warms up quickly ( ready light came on after 3.5 minutes) and is generally easy to use although a couple of my first efforts did wrinkle although I was sure they entered the rollers flat and without creases in the pouch. The guillotine works well and has proved very useful.

With the limited use I have put it to so far it has performed excellently. The arm on the guillotine at the rear doesn't come up as far as I would like, only just enough to get the paper to the end stop which makes lining things up a bit trickier than it needs to be. It does cut well enough and I have had no issues with the dozen laminations I have done so far. The query I had with the seller was answered very quickly and efficiently so all in all very pleased with this.

Really pleased with this laminator, it does hot AND cold laminating. The manual has very clear instruction with diagrams and text - not one of those annoying one with just drawings that you can't make head nor tail of.Have tried it on A4 sized paper (ran out of A3) but it's done an excellent job, not single bubble in sight. It also has a guillotine blade which saves me dragging out my paper cutter and has a handy little rounded corner cutter which I will look forward to playing with, there is also a cute little punch included.Very pleased with this machine, it feels very sturdy and not as flimsy as others I have had - good quality for the price!

The media could not be loaded.  I already had the A4 version bought a while back and wanted something bigger. The addition of the guillotine was also attractive as it hardly adds any space to the overall form factor. Furthermore you have the ability to do hot and cold lamination.The unit works well, it heats ok quick enough and works efficiently. It could be quicker but then again I have no patience ;-)Overall there is little to say that would be negative. It's delivering what it promises. Nothing more or less.A great piece of kit.

Absolutely delighted with this laminator. Easy to use, warms up quickly and there was no noticeable smell from using it. The addition of a paper trimmer built into the top is a thoughtful and really useful idea which is so handy for those moments when you find the paper doesn't fit in the laminating pouch just as you'd like. You can also lock this feature, so small hands can't access it. The machine is a compact size and does not take up too much room to store. It comes with a big selection of pouch sizes. For me the best thing is now having the ability to laminate sizes all the way from A5 to A3. A great buy.

Stopped working randomly only afte 3/4 uses

I bought this laminator with the expectation of just using the laminator for hot laminating, and thought that the built in guillotine was a bit of a gimmick. I have since found this not to be the case, the laminator works fantastically well with hot laminating sheets, I have laminated A5, A4 and A3 sheets, all of which came out wrinkle free with both the laminate pouches provided and some third party ones I had bought. It will also do cold laminate pouches for if you want to retrieve your documents at some point later which is handy. The laminator was really quick to warm up and quiet during operation. It wasn't particularly speedy, probably on par with other laminators I have used in the past. The built in guillotine is fantastic and used alongside the corner punch that comes with this I produced some good quality print and play cards for a card game. The blade gives really nice clean cuts, and it was easy to place it precisely. Very pleased with my purchase.

I work in a school and ordered this for laminating all the new name labels for the draws in my school ready for next term and all the new signage in our roleplay area. The laminator was really easy to use, it worked perfectly smoothly very quickly, with no paper jams the entire time. The guillotine cut a lovely straight line, was really easy to use, and has a great safety feature, a safety catch to prevent the blade from causing injury. The guillotine really came in handy for all those bunting flags you see in the pictures making the job much simpler. I would completely recommend buying this product, great quality and really good price.
