Beatingon Double-Face Soft Mallet

Works fine for my purposes and a great value. Doesn't leave marks on wood, which is what I use it for to test for quality of glue bond on plywood.

Solid tool, but not finished neatly. The double heads—hard and less hard—are nice options to have on the same mallet for crafts and modeling. I like it, as a tool. But...it came with what looked like scratches from falling on a rough floor, and it sported smears of red paint (?) as if it had been a car door side-swiped in a parking lot. I used a thumbnail to scrape off some spots of what looked like tar. Hard not to imagine some fantastic scenarios, but I used the tool and it did the job. Maybe it was returned and resold as new without "refurbishing."

head tip stripped off and wont stay on.

Arrived quickly. Mallet looks used as if it sat in a box a long time. The heads look new but there are rust spots on the neck and metal cover between the heads.

Works good. Just as expected. Good addition to my tool box

it is a hammer that is worth what it costs. gets the job done.

Seems to be of good quality and it does the job.
