Quick fix for worn out strap
My old awning pull strap fell apart, and this was the perfect replacement. Super easy to install—took just a couple of minutes. Feels sturdy and works like new. Great quick fix for a common RV issue!

Superior strength but my cause ripples
When I bought my 2014 camper, the awning strap that came with it was incredibly cheap and flimsy. It tore the first time I tried to open the awning, and continued to do so repeatedly until it was in pieces. Fed up with the hassle, I found this replacement strap—and what a difference it's made! This one is sturdy with a larger plastic piece and a robust strap reminiscent of a tie-down. The only downside is that the plastic part protrudes slightly, causing minor ripples in the awning when fully extended, but these fade quickly. I'll take that small trade-off any day over dealing with a broken strap again. If you're looking for a reliable replacement, this is definitely the way to go!

Long and Strong
Long and strong! These are new so my review is limited to the brand new product. It does allow me to open the awning from lower positions since the strap is longer.

Plastic guide where strap is looped sticks out… Updated
We just replaced our trailer awning and wanted to start with a fresh new strap. This strap is of good quality, longer than our old one which was always a struggle, we have a large awning and a tall trailer, so that’s what we wanted. The guide fit nicely into the track, but the plastic loop where the strap is anchored stuck out too far we felt, at least on our reel. We were concerned that over time it would damage the awning material. We were past the 30 day return window, so we cut the plastic and used a piece of poly cord through the strap loop, as the previous owner had done, and slid it in the track. Seemed to work okay. Update: The seller reached out to me right away and offered to help, which I didn’t expect. I really appreciate and am very pleased with the great customer service!!

Happy with purchase!
This product works great. A little longer than our original but we find that to be helpful when extending the awning.

Durable replacement that holds up to tension and weather
The Context: I used these to replace the old, worn-out straps on my RV awning. They’ve been in use for several months now, and they are holding up much better than the original equipment. The Performance: Material Strength: The "upgraded" webbing feels thicker than standard straps. It handles the initial "pull down" tension well without stretching or showing signs of stress at the attachment point. Weather Resistance: After being exposed to the sun and rain, the material hasn't become stiff or brittle. The 9.8ft length is generous, making it much easier to reach the awning even if the RV is on a high pad. Ease of Install: They slid into the awning channel without any bunching or needing to trim the rubber tab. Pros: Extra Length: The 118-inch reach is a lifesaver for taller rigs. Reliability: I’ve had no issues with the strap slipping or fraying during frequent use. Consistent Pull: Provides a solid grip even when the strap is wet. Cons: None—it’s a straightforward, heavy-duty replacement part. The Verdict: If your current awning straps are looking frayed or sun-bleached, these are a reliable, low-cost upgrade. They do exactly what they’re supposed to do and stay strong under pressure.

Had to purchase a different type due to hard plastic holder
The length is good, but the hard plastic piece that goes into the roller leaves a crease in the awning material and it may over time wear through the material
