So far, so good! I'm happy with it.
I purchased a used 2015 Dodge Ram 1500 and the original owner had only turned in one "key" (what you see IS the key as well as the key fob all in one, with a 'hard' key inside -it will open doors, but you need the big programmable piece to start the truck). As this vehicle WILL allow you to lock the doors with the device inside (something I'm rather well known for) it behooves people like myself to have copies. So I purchased this two-FOB packet (one for the wife, one spare). As others mention, it must be programmed. As I found out, prices vary a bit -in my particular case, none of the private lock and key places I tried would program the device for anything less than $80 per device. I finally went to a Dodge dealer who just charged a 1/2hr labor charge per unit (came out to about $66 per device) which included programming and cutting the key inside. This is still cheaper than buying the key from a dealer. But despite what you read, you would do well to call around and get some prices (even from dealers). As for the purchased product, I used it to drive home. So far, it worked flawlessly.I have read where cheaper knock-offs last about a month or two before mysteriously dying. I'll update this if that happens. It looks like my OEM key in all respects, however. In any case, it works.Update: One of the FOB/Keys began to malfunction 03/25/2018 (not quite two months after receiving it). When not in the ignition, the fob continuously tries to "lock" the truck, setting off the horn (short 'beep') and repeats. This begins as soon as the FOB is within range. Note that none of the buttons are stuck. On 3/29 I contacted the sellers' service department and will continue to update once I get a response.

Works well, but has an annoying issue
When we purchased a used 2017 RAM 1500, it came with a single fob. We ordered this one so that each of us could have a "key". This fob works like it should; it locks and unlocks the vehicle as well as starting the engine. The issue is with the panic button. It is slightly raised from the body of that engages with the ignition switch. I have had several experiences where just sticking it into the switch would set the alarm off. That was especially irritating when it occurred early in the morning in a campground in Yellowstone National Park. I knew it was possible and was really trying to keep it form occurring. It happened anyway. GRRRR!

Important. READ
Make sure your numbers on the top of the key fob (what goes in your ignition) match the numbers on the fob that you currently have, i have heard it won't work they they do not. DO NOT tell the dealership that you bought the fob off Amazon or eBay ect. Or they will not program it. They want you to buy it from them and its like $160 then $60 to program it. It worked great for me and I haven't had any issues and I've used it over a year now.
