Permatex 81409 High-Temp Red RTV Silicone Gasket, 11 oz.

Used the permatex to adhere a dryer door gasket to the door. Worked as expected being a permatex product. Have used their products in the past with great success and so far this job is no exception. Will continue with their products.

Way cheaper than other places online and especially cheaper than the parts store. Exact product that it says it is.

Bought this here cause it’s significantly cheaper than auto stores. Exactly the same product, just much cheaper. Works great for repairing small engines with hard to find/make gaskets. Would highly recommend.

Needed this product and it worked out great.

I needed a high temp silicone to seal around the flashing for our wood stove chimney. It had not been sealed properly in the past, and leaked when it rained. I have used this product in the past for engine work and was familiar with the great sealing properties that it has. I was glad to find it available in caulk tube form. It worked perfectly, filling the voids and making what should be a permament seal. Now for some rain to try it! This is an excellent product.

Used this stuff on China walls on a sbc. Sticks better than the silicone found in home improvement stores.

Recommended by my chimney sweep to use instead of the runny, watery glue that comes with the kits. Wood stove has been running a couple weeks now and the rope seal is still firmly attached.

Its my go to RTV, water pump gasket no problem , need to repair a torn gasket no problem. You will find a lot of different uses for it .
