A good frame for a man. The ladies seem to like the look of it. Putting it together was simple enough and after a month haven’t heard any extra noises from it. I use a heavy foam mattress. *edit I forgot to mention, if you have a pillow top or high mattress and use a box spring, I found the standard 9” box spring to be too tall to allow the mattress to fit under the headboard pad. I went out and bought a 4” box frame.

I purchased this bed mainly due to the reviews. I honestly believe that most of the positive reviews were spot on. The bed was delivered on the day it was promised. Unfortunately, it came in later than the promised time. Mine arrived with no rips or tears. I also carried it upstairs by myself. The bed arrived in two boxes. It was so easy to put together. I’d say it should take you 30-45 minutes max. The leather appears to be of a good quality. Negatives: The bed doesn’t know if it wants to be a platform bed or use a mattress and box spring. After reading the reviews, most agreed that it was too low for a platform mattress. A few said to be sure to get a box spring. Well, that seemed perfect for me. I was replacing a bed and had a mattress and box spring on hand. Unfortunately, I have a pillow top mattress and using it makes the bed seem very tall. I’m assuming I’ll buy a 8-10” foam mattress. I took a few pictures so you’ll see what I mean. Additionally, like most reviewers, I believe it could use more wood slats. I ended up using three from the previous bed. The bed comes with 3 slats.

Just bought mine recently. Be very gentle with the bonded leather, when putting together which takes forever, there's a tiny snag on one of the legs of the headboard, but its really unnoticeable. Other then that It holds me up, and I'm 6'8 265. Also my recommendation is BE SURE to purchase a king( 2 twin) box springs for proper support, because if you bought a memory foam mattress like I did, a I bought a 13 inch optimum gold elation, to protect the integrity of the mattress purchase the box springs! All said and done it all worked out, as I've put a lot of time in researching for beds and mattresses. If your a guy, and you like dark colors, and masculine features, get this one!

Wow! What a bed for such an agreeable price! The leather is real and came in great condition, not a scratch during shipping. The bed is straightforward in putting together, taking about an hour and half; be prepared to turn a number of screws for securing the frame. Also, be sure to purchase w/ a box spring. I'd recommend a box spring at 4-5 inches and mattress at 13-14 inches to appropriately fit the headboard. Overall, I'd highly recommend this, if you are looking for a King, black leather bed.

Bed frame look great. Highly recommend the bed just need to add a few more slats. It came with 5 could do with 2 more.

After so many days and nights of research we finally ordered this bed. All our efforts really paid when we got this bed. I Love this bed. The only problem because of which I gave it 4 star is I was looking for a platform bed and this one need a box spring and it was not very clear in the description. However, it was not a very big problem because there were 4 slats on each side, what I did is got a wooden board from Homedepot which cost around $10-$15 dollars and made the bed as platform bed.

Looks better in person. Very nice design and sturdy. You do not need a box spring unless you want to be a little higher up.
