A GAME CHANGER... even better with the following easy upgrades/fixes
We have tried several options available on Amazon to make the bathtub accessible, and this one is a real gamechanger. The glide between the toilet and the tub is totally effortless, and the cut-out seat enables thorough personal hygiene. But three easy and inexpensive adjustments made the product perfect: 1) Toilet Safety Rail by VIVE; we had one installed before the sliding seat and just removed a screw to make the rail on the side of the bathtub detachable (see the photo); 2) Shower Seat Cushion by AERRTIS makes sitting more comfortable and provides “a lift” for a better accessibility of personal areas; 3) A drop of silicone (or a piece of modeling clay) placed on the L-shaped ledge of the sliding track above the inner edge of the bathtub. Someone mentioned in their reviews water collecting and running horizontally to the outside of the bathtub. We experienced the same issue… A drop of silicone blocks the flow and redirects water to drip inside the tub – the problem solved!

Best option instead of remodeling the bathroom
Wonderful product for those who have a step over tub, but lack the mobility to step over the tub edge. It was pretty easy to set up, just make sure when you assemble that the horizontal top bars have the locking nubs on the correct side or the red locks will not work. It would have been easier if it came with assembly instructions. We also purchased the accessory handles for the seat. If you have decreased leg strength, the handles help with sitting. The glides are really smooth and very easy to move. The seat is very stable. The hole in the shower chair gives you easy access to wash all parts of the body. I would also recommend buying a new shower curtain and cutting two vertical slits to accommodate the chair rails. The slanted rubber feet allow it to sit flat if you have curved bottom edges on your bath tub. If the seat does not line up perfectly with the toilet, there is a small hole in the front of plastic chair where you can see the metal under rail while seated. I put a nail polish dot on the metal rail so that it can be visually lined up with the hole in the chair while you are seated. Works like a level dot so you know where you are in relation to the toilet.

Great product
Wife can’t stand or pull so chair is Half in shower. And half on floor so easy to reach with lift and sling and still out of shower water. Slides easy and very stable No more LIFTING!!! Or pulling. Expensive but solves a big problem. Will last a long time. Great design. Easy to use easy to assemble no tools needed just insert tube in leg and push button. Stores in shower when not needed. Shower curtain limits splashing. I move it to back of shower when I shower

Well built
Much sturdier than it looks. No wobble when sliding from toilet to shower or back. Very light and easy to move and adjust. Height is very adjustable to find the right height for the user. Chair is secure when locked in on either end.

Risk of not fitting, and losing half of your money!
I bought it with excitement for my parents as it is a genuine idea, and as a design engineer myself, when I put it together it really looked awesome and well built. When I tried to fit it in place, I just realized several problems. When you slide the seat all the way over the tub, about 20% of it is still outside the tub, meaning the when showring, so much water will go outside the tub. The seat dimensions are listed on the product description, but you do not realize how small the seat opening is till you see it. It is the size of a toddler trainer. An elderly person sitting on it must only do #1 or #2, and if you do both, some mess will go over the seat. The tracks under the openings are visible so, unless your droppings go straight down, they will hit the track, and if you slide the seat, the mess is all over. With all of these issues my parents' caregiver told me it would be easier for her to lift my parents over the tub rather than cleaning such a mess. So, we never used it, and we put together back in its original box like never opened. The company agreed to take back with 15% restocking and I pray for return shipping which is about $90. So basically you barely get half of your money back. I argued on the phone, but no hope. I decided to keep the unit and use some parts of it for another project I am working on. So once you buy this product, you are taking the chance to lose half of your money if it does not fit, provided that you never use it. If there is a sign that it is used, they will not refund you any, which means not only you lost the purchase price, but you also lose additional $90 for the return shipping. The conclusion, the product is a great idea and well-built if it fits over your tub and under your bottom. If it does not fit, the company’s no-return policy makes you lose your money. If I have time again, I will put it up again and takes photos of the problems.

Best purchase we ever made
I have been caring for my mother who has ALS for 5 years. Showers have been an absolutely terrifying experience for both of us. To the point where at times she would just refuse to take one. It took me two years to convince her (and my sister who is her other caregiver) to purchase this item for safety and ease for all of us. We have had it two months and I cannot tell you how much of a game changer this has been. Instead of tears and anxiety, my mom now giggles her way through bathing because she feels safe and no longer afraid of falling getting in and out to sit on a regular shower chair. I would highly recommend this product!

Works great until it breaks. This is my 3rd one in 2+ years.
I'm an 83-year-old left leg amputee who uses this sliding shower seat to transfer from my wheelchair to the seat and then slide into my walk-in shower. I need the sliding seat to get over the curb on the outside edge of the shower. And, of course, I can't stand on one leg in the shower without a chair of some kind. It works great ... until it breaks. I'm on my 3rd chair in 2+ years. I weigh around 230-235 lbs, so I don't think it's my weight. I'm gentle with it. It sits in place over the curb all the time. I don't remove it or pull it around. I just get on it, slide in, and shower. The rails do get very sticky and it takes a real effort to pull it into the shower, but I follow the manufacturer's suggestion and spray the rail with WD-40 around twice a week to keep it slippery. Works fine and keeps the seat moving smoothly. The first time it broke, the right-hand front slider on the chair cracked into two pieces and fell off. I was able to use the chair on the remaining three sliders (very carefully) until a new unit arrived. There do not seem to be any spare parts available to replace the slider. Today, the locking tab on the same right front slider fell off, leaving the chair loose to slide back and forth while I was on it inside the shower. We tried to put the tab back on, but could not get it to fit. So I've ordered another one -- my third. In other words, I've now spent over $1000 because the same part on both chairs broke. I really like the chair otherwise. It's just what I need. It's exactly the right length, for one thing; a shorter one would not work. But I can't take the chance of it falling apart with me on the chair. I'm keeping alert for a similar extra-long chair from another company that might be more sturdy, but so far no joy.
