Chemical Guys, Black on Black Instant Exterior Trim Shine Dressing, 11 oz

Has some fading and streaking from automotive engine cleaner I used on my Triumph motorcycle engine casing. I washed and wiped and did everything possible to get it off, but nothing worked. Bought some Black on Black and sprayed it on and ten minutes later, my engine cover looked brand new. I didn't wipe it off - just sprayed it on and let it sit and now my 2016 Street Twin looks brand new. Actually, better than new. So impressed with this stuff. $12 well spent.

This is my first try at a Chemical Guys product and have to say that I am quite pleased. It really does make plastic and rubber trim look like new and, so far, it is outlasting all the other well known brands I've used. I anticipated getting over spray all over the vehicle but the spray pattern was thought out and I had very little overspray as I got used to applying it. If you dragged me to give it a knock I would have to agree with other reviewers about the nozzle dribbling product into the neck of the can. That is a tad annoying but a small price to pay for the very pleasing results. I developed a method with a towel to capture the leaked product and used that towel to do touch-ups. I will buy again. THIS STUFF IS AMAZING AND LASTS A LONG TIME. It fully restored all of the plastic on my 4Runner and CRV. Love it. I just purchased 3 more cans to restore my friend's and brother's vehicle!

This Product from Chemical Guys works exceptionally for temporary refurbishment. great for the car shows and to show off your trim. Faded trim happens over time, and this dressing makes the trim look really nice after a wash. Prep- it is essential for the user to clean the trim that the dressing will be applied to. i used the chemical guys orange degreaser, to remove dirt from the plastic trim. then i clayed the trim with plain water so i do not affect the longevity of the dressing, the gloss enhancers in detail spray leaves a small coating which will affect the longevity of the dressing. finall i dried the surface and let it sit for about 20 minutes to make sure it was completely dry. i sprayed on the dressing and buffed the excess with a micro fiber towel. with the preporation i did, it made the trim look natural, and the dressing bonded instantly. it was also dry to the touch. pros- very easy to apply, and quick to apply cons- does not last very long, after rain or a car wash the dressing is gone.

This product surpasses any other product I have used. Maintains the shine and dries uniformly.

I recently purchased this product, and I was skeptical at first after seeing all the pictures and videos. But after buying it and trying it for myself, I’m honestly mad I didn’t get it sooner! It’s definitely worth the money and works exactly as advertised. In the video, you’ll see my car’s grille with the product sprayed on one half and the other half left untreated, so you can see the difference for yourself. The results speak for themselves!
