Great value for money would recommend

I bought this as a beginner for hand building clay pots, these tools work for my needs but do not make the mistake I made, use the sharper metal tools for carving and trimming, the rounded wire one is pretty useless and began to bend after carving one pot. The metal kidney and sponge are very useful but if I were starting over I would find better wooden tools, these are a bit too chunky. The cutting wire is fine but not the sharpest.

My son uses these for detailed sandcastles. As the wood is untreated we did spray with plastikote to seal and protect the wood but the variety of tools has been great. He and his friends won the local sandcastle competition!

Sharp spike tool for scribbing, soonge and flat metal tool are great. Wooden tools are clunky and need sanding and shaping to be useful but once done are great. The scraping tools cannot cope with any pressure being applied. Currently held together with glue. If you want tools for a serious hobby, buy better quality.

These tools are small and poorly finished compared to other brands. I am keeping them for use with young children but could not use them myself.

I've recently gotten into harvesting wild clay and hand building. This set is perfect for me, as far as my needs go. Will it hold up to throwing on the wheel? No idea. But if you plan to use the tools for hand building pieces, this is a great buy 😊
