I am utterly disgusted and infuriated with this Jau Sattu product from Natureship. It claims to be "100% Handmade" and "Roasted & Stone Ground by Hand," but this is a blatant misrepresentation of a usable product. What I received was an uncleaned, heavily contaminated package of what appears to be barley with an unacceptable amount of husk and foreign particles. Upon opening, I immediately noticed thin, stick-like husks within the powder. Initially, I tried to consume it directly, but it was impossible – these tough, light husks got stuck in my throat, making it absolutely disgusting and unsafe to swallow. To my horror, the product was completely unpurified. I had to sift it through a fine flour sieve – not once, but TEN TIMES! Even after multiple passes, I kept finding significant amounts of these husks. What's worse, these light husks are highly electrostatic; they literally jump and fly everywhere when sifting. My entire kitchen – the floor, countertops, and even my clothes – became covered in these irritating particles. It was a massive cleanup operation after each attempt to sift. I had to mop the floor and wipe down all surfaces repeatedly. I estimate that I lost at least 20-30% of the product's weight due to these impurities that had to be discarded. This is not just inconvenient; it's a monumental waste of money and effort. Selling a product like this, especially one marketed as a natural and healthy dietary staple, is utterly disrespectful to the customer. It's impossible to consume as is, and requiring such extensive, frustrating, and messy purification makes it unfit for purpose. These stick-like husks are a choking hazard and make the product inedible. This seller is an absolute fraud, charging a premium price for a "natural" product that is clearly just roughly milled barley thrown into a packet without any proper cleaning or quality control. This is unacceptable and amounts to pure deception. Save your money and avoid this brand. There are far cleaner and more reputable options available.

Natureship ka Sattu sach mein purane dino ki yaad dila deta hai. Iska swad itna natural hai kyunki ise traditional tarike se banaya gaya hai. Market mein milne wale baki products se ye kaafi alag aur shuddh hai. Highly recommended

It’s ok but has little kachra in it. Recently tried another one by Jabsons and that was better from hygiene point of you.

If you are looking for a purely organic protein source, this is it. No chemicals, no additives just the raw, earthy goodness of traditionally processed gram. It feels very light on the stomach and incredibly nutritious.
