My blueberries adore this for bedtime snack. I feed them lightly in December after the''ve gone to sleep so the snow can dissolve it and carry it to the roots. I add acidifier more heavily at that time. I feed again more heavily with acidifier and Berry-tone just as they are budding in early April. The berries are huge and delicious. With routine correct pruning while they sleep and lots of mulch, we are supplied loads of blueberries. Immediately after picking, I spread them on a cookie sheet, blow off any fragments, and flash freeze without washing (only had rain on them). Then pour them in a vacuum sealer bag, finish and back to the freezer. The Berry-tone gives them the exact correct amount of food so you'll eat blueberries all year long!

I love the Espoma products including this Berry Tone. I only wish they shipped more of their products to the west coast. I use this fertilizer on my raspberries, strawberries, and blueberries. All the plants look super healthy and I don't worry about my food with this organic fertilizer. It does have an odor, but you only smell it when applying it and then you end up with beautiful, productive plants. I wouldn't garden without it.

Even after only two weeks and at the end of November, I’m already seeing fresh green shoots and healthy growth — the plants are developing vigorously, and I can’t wait for next spring! I used about 4 tablespoons in a 10-gallon pot. The fertilizer has a mild scent and is easy to work with. What’s more, this pack comes with two containers at a very reasonable price, which makes it an excellent value. I highly recommend this product for anyone growing berries — whether new seedlings or established plants — who wants strong, healthy growth while enjoying an affordable, organic option.

This fertilizer works great and delivers excellent results for berry plants. That said, the smell is something to be aware of—it’s pretty strong and seems to be chicken‑manure based. It definitely attracts my dog whenever I use it. While the odor isn’t my favorite, the effectiveness makes it worth it. Just be prepared for the smell when applying and that is my only reason for giving this product 4 stars.

This arrived quickly and in good condition. My berries loved it and are producing well. This is a name you can trust with your garden.
