Smart, silent, and colony-deep—NOPE! bait stations wipe out ants with gel tech and long-term punch.
🪰 NOPE! Ant Killer Bait Station – Full Review This 6-pack of bait stations is designed to eradicate entire ant colonies, not just surface-level foragers. Each trap is pre-loaded with a next-gen gel bait containing both a systemic insecticide and an insect growth regulator (IGR). The bait works via trophallaxis—ants carry it back to the nest and feed it to the queen and larvae, ensuring full colony collapse over time . The gel is more appetising than dry bait, so ants are drawn in even if you don’t see them entering the station. It’s safe for indoor and outdoor use, with Bitrex added to deter pets and children from tampering . The bait remains active for up to 4 weeks, and the traps are easy to place and monitor. ✅ Pros Dual-action formula—kills ants and disrupts colony reproduction Gel bait—more attractive and effective than dry bait Works indoors and outdoors—versatile placement Bitrex additive—child and pet deterrent Long-lasting—up to 4 weeks of protection Minimal clean-up—ants die inside the nest Easy setup—open, activate, place ❌ Cons Delayed action—takes time to reach the queen May not show visible ant activity—still working behind the scenes Refills not included—single-use stations Strong bait scent—keep away from food prep areas 🧠 Personal Verdict This kit’s a proper colony killer. I’ve seen it used near kitchens, patios, and bin areas, and it delivers—quietly, thoroughly, and without mess. The delayed-action gel is a win for deep nest penetration, and the safety features make it ideal for homes with pets or kids. For around £11.99, it’s a smart grab for anyone dealing with persistent ant problem

Definitely works
I wasn’t convinced it was going to work but I trusted the process! I put 3 traps down where they mostly were crawling. It did get a lot worse initially as they all seemed to invite their friends and families to join them. They were quickly going into the traps then back under the skirting boards. Within a few days they were visibly moving slower and the numbers started reducing. Within the week there was only one or two. I left down for 2 weeks but in the second week there was no ants seen. Really impressed

It’s an ant aphrodisiac they multiply
We have a few ants appearing where we mae tea coffee etc so assuming from the feedback these would work we placed 2 on the counter and 4 under the dishwasher which is the only place they can be nesting and they’ve been there about 2 week now and if anything the ants are coming MORE than before….. clearly they aren’t attracted to whatever it Is in these “stations” and they aren’t the easiest to press and “disperse” the liquid it’s very difficult to push the liquid up or into the “bottom pocket” either way it was a pack of 6 and thick as I am I can’t of got it wrong all 6 times at the age of 53! There must be some common sense in my head!!! Which means either I’m a totally lost cause and should pack my bags now or the ant killer isn’t killing ants! If anything it seems to of got them in lust and multiplying by many! Nope nope nope 👎 zero stars 🌟 don’t work Haven’t attracted even 1 measly ant! With 6 stations you’d think one may of fell in even by accident but nope so nope’ sorry

Ants went inside, but results were limited
I used these ant bait stations because I had ants coming around and wanted something simple to place down without making too much mess. They are easy enough to use and the stations feel safer and tidier than loose powder or spray. I did notice only few ants going inside the bait station, but I can’t say it made a big difference overall. I was expecting the ant activity to reduce more, but after using them I still noticed ants around. Maybe it depends on the size of the problem or where the nest is, but in my case the results were limited. It is not completely useless because the ants did go inside, but it didn’t work as well as I hoped.

Anti-Ant traps!
These ant bait traps are effective I had to get some as we had an ant problem. Deployed 3 of them and the ants quicky for the sent and went to work on their own demise. 24 hours there was an increase as they came out of the "wood work" looking for the delicious bait traps goo, following 24 hours ants getting sluggish 72 hours a few remaining ants are like the walking wounded looking for the arm that got blown off in a war film. They did a great job for me. They are small and discreet, easy to deploy and personally I can't smell any odour

Worked brilliantly after a few days
Saw the mixed reviews so wasn't sure but had to do something as gazillions of ants moving in an out of both ends of window sill outside. 21st June: the bait stations went outside at either end of the window sill. The ants didn't seem interested 22nd: put two further bait stations indoors where the ants were appearing above and below some fitted cupboards. I put a tiny dab of honey at the entrance to the bait stations to entice the ants in. That seemed to work. 23rd: ants and flying ants swarming all over the top of the fitted cupboards and the work surface. Bait stations outside starting to attract a few ants. More interest in the indoor stations. There were so many ants I had to vacuum them up every 10 mins for several hours 24th: only a few ants indoors and outdoors 25th: saw about 4 ants all day 26th: no ant activity at all. I will now block up the gaps round the outside of the window sill so that no new colony gets in. Yes, I would recommend NOPE!

No success for me
Didn’t work for me unfortunately. I put 4 bait stations down and whilst some ants did come and feed from them (and die inside them) they didn’t make a difference. I do have an EXTREMELY large infestation of ants though I think as there is hundreds of them. Maybe they would work for smaller ant colonies. Moved on to try Nippon traps in the hope of a better result.
