Not waterproof
Mine were not waterproof. I stepped in about an inch and a half of water to see if they were actually waterproof. After a few seconds my feet started to get wet. The water did not go over the tongue part and into the shoe, it simply seeped straight through the exterior of the shoe. These should not be advertised as waterproof and we're a waste of money

Money well spent.
I hiked 11 miles in mud and water, feet stayed completely dry. Boots work very well for the price they cost, the only bad thing about them is they do not have alot of cushion in the sole of them. I found them ok, but if you are a heavy person you will definitely want an insole with these. I intentionally beat on them for my first hike with them to make sure they won't fail on me during long hikes. They are constructed well. I submerged my foot until the tounge was under water and my feet were still dry. For the cost these are they are just as good as more expensive boots. Money well spent.

Nice hiking boot
I am only giving this 4 stars, it would have been a 5 star boot but the very top rivet loop lace holder broke out of my boot the first day I received these. I do enjoy how lightweight they are and very comfortable to walk in. I use them for my motorcycle boots.

Refurbished......Looks and feels like new. Rigid sole.
Bought a refurbished pair because that’s all they had in size 12. I had foot surgery 3 years ago and it’s much better if my foot doesn’t flex a lot. High tops obviously keep ankle locked more than regular shoes but I need a highly rigid sole. Description doesn’t address that but I decided to give them a try. The sole IS quite rigid so these shoes work very well. Foot does not hurt after a long day of walking. And you would never know they were refurbished. Can’t beat it for under $30.

Incredible
I’ve served in the military and have been in law enforcement. Hands down the most comfortable boot! I have a support group for first responders and I’d love to partner up with you guys to get this out to other agencies to show support.

Good for the money
I have arthritic ankles, hammer toe and over pronation of my ankles and i go through expensive shoes quickly. I like the design of these and the price! The wide rubber heal bottom and stiffness of shoe helps to keep my ankle from turning and the smooth soft interior and mesh prevents my hammer toe from hurting or rubbing. The sole is stiff so my foot doesn't roll too easily and pull my arches or hurt my toes. The negative is the cushion inside the shoe under the heal is VERY hard and needs improvement on shape. I solved that by putting hard orthotic inserts in the shoe. I am still breaking them in but these are great ankle support shoes that i can walk on uneven terrain in. I took a chance on these shes because they were so cheap. And since they work i'll just keep buying new pairs when i tear them apart like i do othet shoes. Stiffness is a plus for me.

The sole...
the sole of these boots is like walking on a couple of 2 X 4's. Very stiff. Returned them.

Don't waste your money!
These things are falling apart on me after just 6 weeks of use! Granted I wear them daily, I am NOT overly hard on my shoes and frankly don't walk all that much. They should have lasted me at least 6 months, not 6 weeks. The tread was not designed to last long, but worse than that, The sole is literally falling off the shoe. However I will say that they were comfortable for those 6 weeks, nice and light too. Not waterproof. Not really boots. More of a high top running shoe.
