The Luminox: Pacific Diver is a very well-crafted and efficient watch. Considering the company, materials, capabilities and overall functionality, the cost is very reasonable and affordable. Simply put, the watch was built like a rock and just feels nice and solid when you handle and/or wear it. The lume (glow-in-the-dark) is very pronounced, easy to read, and does not fade. It is SLIGHTLY heavier when compared to similar watches from different companies, but the durability and density make for a very even trade. Not only is it a great tool for a diver (or other outdoorsman), but it is also very good looking and can be worn with everything from board-shorts and a t-shirt to a nice suit. Luminox also has excellent QC, customer service, and warranties. In other words… It is highly unlikely that any of their products would ever arrive broken or perform shy of the described capabilities, but if one were to do so, you couldn’t be in better hands to have it fixed or replaced if necessary. The ONLY drawback I could imagine, and this is more of a personal preference issue for some, is that many divers prefer not to have metallic or shiny items on them when they dive because those items might attract unwanted attention from certain types of fish. But again, that is more of a personal preference than an actual flaw with the watch. Anyway… GREAT watch, totally worth the money, and I have yet to meet somebody to ever be disappointed in a Luminox.

This is an absolutely gorgeous watch! The strap could be better, as it’s a bit stiff. It should a FKM with a black clasp for the price you pay. But all in all that’s just constructive criticism. I can skip the strap issue because the watch is amazing. The size, the weight, the looks… all fabulous. The white dial in an all black watch makes it even elegant. And at night, you will be speechless. The brightness is just fantastic. I’m sure anyone buying this watch will enjoy it as much as I am. The photo is very simple and non professional of course, but you can see how nice it fits.

This is my second Luminox watch the first one I still have but I did have to have it fixed once as the second hand came loose. So far I have I had no issues with this watch I like the fact that you can wear it as a nice watch out to dinner or wear it golfing, surfing or swimming very versatile. The one thing that was a bit strange was that I had to cut the band in order to size it. It’s not an issue now but if I was going to sell it or give it away it would need a new band. Having said that though I really like the rubber band it’s really comfortable. The watch face is a little smaller than I was expecting but still looks good. Got it on sale probably wouldn’t have paid full price.

The watch is as advertised. Looks good, bright at night. I would recommend the watch. BUT it was shipped in a plastic bag and placed in a box with brown paper packing(the paper packing was ok). There was no documentation, no warranty card, no Instructions just watch that was hastily crunched up in plastic and shoved in the corner of a box. This is $600+ watch. I have bought $200 luminox watches that came in a luminox box. Shame on the seller AAA Swiss watches to treat this watch this way. Will never buy from them again. I love my older luminox but it has a busy dial/watch face and the mineral glass is well scratched by now. This is a serious upgrade! It keeps the best feature of the luminox watches (those high visibility tritium tubes) but improved everything else. This black out version is subtle and classy, it’s a bit big but wears well on my pretty standard sized wrist. The low profile numbers and markings are surprisingly readable despite their muted nature. They also upgraded the watch crystal from the luminox standard mineral glass for more reliable and durable sapphire crystal. I’m torn on the stainless steel body, it’s got a much more substantial and classy look but the carbon fiber plastic body of their standard watches was nice and light. Either way it’s definitely not a down grade and I am not disappointed by it. What’s the downside? Not sure why but it’s super hard to photograph this watch to show how cool it is, I couldn’t take a photo worth including on this review.

I love Luminox watches. This is a basic sports watch that is super easy to read. It will go with any outfit. The white face and black indices/ numbers (only the 12 and 6 are displayed. The face is a lil smaller 39 mm unlike the usual 44 mm. It’s clean and a really an attractive watch. I really like it. The one challenge is cutting the band. It took a minute but with caution and 3 tries I got it done. It fits great. One thing I should mention , this watch DID NOT come with band tool nor the measuring paper I thought should have been included. That’s why I gave this watch 4 stars. I improvised by using a piece of paper and luckily I had another Luminox watch that came with the band tool. A you tube video on sizing the band was super helpful.

First mechanical watch, I really like it - had it for a few months now, still looks great and haven't had issues. I had a clumsy moment and smacked it into a concrete wall - though I completely busted the face but it barely did anything, just a small scuff on the bezel. It's surprisingly durable. The illumination is great and clear in the dark. Would buy another luminox.

I was initially tempted to return because I had read some negative reviews about Luminox, but this watch has a rather stylish look. It would be great for everyday wear or even for a more relaxed setting.

A perfect dressy and functional watch for those who hate to press buttons at night .. a diver watch with a screwdown crown, bezel , 200 m water resistance ( which I will never use ! ) and sapphire glass - (scratch resistant for clumsy me ).was wondering about a Luminox for many days Got a good deal on the new year and took the plunge . Liked it.
