This product is made in japan and distributed in the usa. it's not made in the usa, isn't it?

It depends on the package. It can be manufactured in the US or in Japan.

Once opened and stored in an airtight container, what is the shelf life?

I buy in bulk and keep it in an air tight glass jar and it has so far lasted without change for two years and counting !

Is there pork enzymes in MSG

No. It is made from corn. It is concentrated glutamates which are naturally occuring in all foods but in higher concentrations in certain types of foods such as mushrooms or concentrated in fermented products such as soy sauce.
