I recently tried Desert Creek Honey (100% Unfiltered, Pure, Raw Honey from Texas), and I’m genuinely impressed with the quality. Love this honey. Some of the best I’ve tasted, been using it in cooking and experimenting in using it in probiotic ginger lemonades and fermenting with it and it has worked great in every application. Will be buying more when I run out.

Order was received promptly. Although there was some spillage (minimal) I was please at least with the attempt to properly secure the contents of the bottle. The packaging was great because of the plastic which created a catchment incase of leakage. I simply wiped off the spill and resealed the bottle. The cover seemed to have popped up (not off) a bit during shipping hence the spillage and gave me an opportunity to taste the honey without the guilt of opening the bottle because this is for my long term prep. The taste was delicious and of great quality. I can understand the frustration with the spillage for some customers but I'm happy to have received what I thought I paid for, hopefully they can figure out how to create a better seal to prevent the leaks. The price was reasonable. I will purchase again.

Thank you Desert Creek for this fantastic honey. I love it and will order it again! One thing that was a little confusing was the weight so I looked it up. This may be helpful to others. You may want to put some of this information about the weight of honey on your amazon page and/or your webpage. Is honey heavier than water? If you’re measuring out water, then 1 fluid ounce of water, which is a measurement of volume, weighs exactly 1 ounce. However, because honey is so much denser than water, it weighs a good deal more. This means that 1 fluid ounce of honey will actually weigh a little bit more than 1 ounce. How much does 16 fluid ounces of honey weigh? Sixteen fluid ounces or 1 pint of water is almost always exactly 16 ounces or 1 pound in weight, except for when the temperature of the water is very warm. Honey, however, is much heavier. Sixteen ounces of honey is only equal to about 11 fluid ounces. This means that if you need 16 fluid ounces of honey, the weight of that amount of honey will be just over 23.2 ounces, or a bit more than 1 pound. Almost all honey weighs relatively the same. However, exactly how much honey weighs will depend on the type of honey and what particular nectar was used to make it. It will also depend on how the honey was processed after it was collected. How much does 1 gallon of honey weigh? We know that 16 fluid ounces of honey weighs 23.2 ounces. There are 128 fluid ounces in 1 gallon. This means that, in order to figure out how much 1 gallon of honey weighs, we need to first divide 128 by 16. The answer is 8, which tells us that there are 8 pints in 1 gallon. We can then multiply 8 by 23.2 since there are 23.2 ounces in 1 pint of honey. The answer is 185.6, which tells us that 1 gallon of honey weighs 185.6 ounces. There are 16 ounces in 1 pound, so we can simplify our answer by dividing by 16. The answer is 11.6, which tells us that 1 gallon of honey weighs just over 11 and a half pounds. : )

I think I’m on my third or fourth gallon. I use a lot of honey for baking and just everyday use, so a huge jug makes sense for me. The plastic jug is always packaged really well to prevent leaks / cracks. Upon receiving I always transfer the honey into large glass jars. The honey pours nicely and the taste is top quality! So yummy!

Well the honey is good, but there is one problem with the jug. You need to change the top so that the pouring part is on the right side to pour; not on the side where the handle of the jug is. I’ve tried to screw it in at different angles, but it always ends up back to the same spot. I have attached a photo.

This honey is amazing for the taste, and is the greatest deal on honey for the price. I'm guaranteed to buy more.
