"Full Down" position from the floor to the top of the very Cushy/Firm 4" thick seat cushion measures 20-1/8" In the "Full Up" position from the floor to the top of the seat cushion measures 26"......... (24-1/2" compressed with my 180# butt planted on it)

Q: What is the range of height adjustment?

The stool I received the seat height adjusted from 20 inches to 25 inches. It seems from other answers that there is not consistency with height range of chairs delivered. The stool is an excellent value for the money, but if you need a specific height (either on the below 20 inch end or above 25 inch end) you may try a model that has the adjustment height specific in the main descriptions.

Q: How high is the adjustment? I need it for working at my Kitchen island/and or counters.

The adjustment is as good as any stool like this is.i use it at work to weld items on the work table which is 34" tall, I'm just5'10".
