Steel Handlebar 1" for Harley Sportster/Nightster Cruiser Motorcycle

Switched out the 12” apes that were on the bike from the previous owner on my 2017 HD 883 Iron. Installation was actually easier than I thought. Only thing is that the clutch cable is now way too long and I will need to install shorter factory length cable to tidy things up. That said, I love these drag bars! My previous apes were just not my style, and I only tolerated them because I didn’t want to go through the trouble of installing new bars. The apes made the bike position weird for me which caused me to occasionally whiskey throttle. Also, my arms got tired quick with my arms up in the air like that. They just felt awkward on the sporty. After installing the drag bars, I excitedly took the bike out on a test ride and the difference was night and day. The sporty now handles like an actual sports bike, carving canyons like a boss. Yes the position is a bit hunched over like on a crotch rocket, but it’s not excessive or caused any physical arm or back pain. These handlebars are super comfy, responsive, look sick and are true to the spirit of the Sportster model. I was debating between this bar and another similar one here on Amazon , which were a bit cheaper and made of iron as opposed to steel, which is why I opted for this drag bar instead. I feel more confident knowing my bar won’t rust like iron often does. Which is one of the reason I went with this stainless steel drag bars. If you’re in the fence about these handlebars, and enjoy the drag bars look, want increased control of your sportster, just go for it - it really is a no brainer!

Great bars for my Harley 883 love the new look

Installed on a 2010 iron 883. Fit perfect. Finish is durable. Brought the controls back enough to be comfortable without having your crotch smashed against the tank and a weird angle in your wrist. I was really unsure of the ability to stay comfortable on my bike until I installed these. Even a slight amount of wrist geometry and arm height made all the difference for me. The price point is amazing. Best bang for you buck period. I honestly won’t be made if they rust on half or break in a year at $29 even though I highly doubt that’s possible.

Looks great and feels great, my bike looks more aggressive. It matched my bikes color and was the same 1 inch as my original handlebar. It took me about 30 min to remove and replace taking my time with no experience on replacing one before if you know how to use any tools. I highly recommend it just keep in mind that drag handlebars will make you tired after sometime riding compared to the original but its just the style of drag handlebars. Cant beat the price

I think it's good price and easy to install, however it's light weight and little thin in my opinion but it will do the job. Over all, worth to buy

These handlebars make a huge difference in the way the bike looks and feels when riding. The black painted areas are far enough that they don’t show the non-painted under the controls and risers, which was a major concern for me. The paint seems durable and I was able to slide the controls into place with no visible damage. The only two problems I had were in the description. One, it said these were 31”. I don’t want to be picky, but they shorted me 2” with the ones I received. At the most liberal measurement, mine are 29”. The other thing is that they insist that these only fit sportsters. 1” bars are 1” bars regardless of what bike they’re on. They need to update their description a bit because I started to not buy these.
