This is the best knife ever! It arrived on time and it is exactly as described. My husband took it out of the sleeve and gently shaved the hair off of his forearm. He replied, Holy S you better be careful with this. lol I told him I definitely will. A sharp knife is safer than a dull knife and it arrived sharp. It’s a great size, weight and thickness. I spend a lot of time in the kitchen and give low cost items a try as often as I buy expensive ones. This knife is a definite buy as a hybrid boning knife meets small cleaver. It's sharp, holds it's edge well, feels good in the hand. I've used it for deboning chickens, chicken thighs, steaks, and rough chopping vegetables. It's a little larger than I was expecting based on eye judgement alone but the shape, tip and sharpness means it can tackle exactly what it's for, and also has enough heft that it can chop when you need it to. It looks a lot like some of those knives you may see in popular outdoor cooking Instagram and TikTok videos but costs a fraction of the price so if those catch your eye then give this one a try instead. The one thing to note is that the blade is not thin, so if you're looking to precision cut things like thick/raw carrots, zucchini, potatoes, etc, it will split more than straight cut (think of splitting a log). Not a negative because it's not intended for that anyway, just a fair warning.

This is a great knife. Love the blade texture. It has a nice solid feel to it. Sturdy and heavy but not too heavy to make it uncomfortable. My only complaint is that the handle seemed to be raw wood, with no finish or protectant on it. That also showed the first time it got wet, when the grain popped and made it rough. I gave it a light sanding and finished it with some Osmo finish. Now it looks great, feels great and is protected against water and wear.

I bought this knife for my 33 year old son as a gift for Christmas.He used it right after opening it as a test to see how sharp it was, he cut a slice of meat that we had cooling on the counter.I watched as did a test slice through prime rib. Without much effort it sliced like butter. He was very impressed how sharp it is.He liked the comfortable grip and the finger hole on the handle.He was impressed by the workmanship as well. He said it felt good in his hand.He's not a chef, but does alot of cooking in the kitchen and said he can't wait to use it.The sheath has a loop to attach to a belt. The quality is lame, (faux leather) but serves its purpose to store it. Not sure how long it will hold up if the knife is used alot.The box it came in is impressive, its sturdy and will be appropriate to store the knife in when not using it.Overall great purchase. Great quality knife / blade for the price.My son is very happy with it. Would purchase again.
