My Most Ambitious Artwork
This was exactly what I needed. I had this idea for my Work-In-Progress painting. I used these overtop my Acrylic painting to create a night scene under a blacklight! And I did it all on livestream! These UV paints blew away my supporters, and working with them was incredibly fun. My only gripe is the orange color isn't usable. The pigments are so diluted, and didn't bind properly, so they are clumpy. The other colors work well, though. I tested them on black paper before using them. Yellow dries the most opaque-white, but shines brilliantly under UV. Only use it in places you don't mind looking white under normal light. You'll need to layer it on, because it's thin, especially the red. Hiding details invisible in white light was the most fun thing! I had a blast with these, and still have plenty left for the next project! Even without the orange, the paints were still worth the purchase. The others make up for where the orange color lacks!

Not as bright as I hoped
Was looking for paints that would go on relatively clear and shine bright in different colors when hit with a blacklight, these were close but just not quite enough. They paint on as a slightly milky consistency and color and are very weak once you hit them with blacklight. Applying more coats does make the uv effect better, but also makes them easier to see under regular light. I'm sure there are plenty of useful applications for this still, just not what I needed it for.

Excellent ESPECIALLY for the price!
Whoever is giving low reviews, are NOT using the correct backlight. Use 365 nm UV light!!! This stuff is AMAZING!! One layer gives a good glow, two is blinding! I accidentally picked up some black paint when I was going over the wand, but you can see otherwise, it’s clear. It’s GLOSSY and will show on matte colors… which is in the description folx!

Not very good UV paint.
The paint is colored, but they all glow green under black light. The UV reactive powder in the paint is all the same reguardless of color, so painting a rainbow just looks like different shades of glowing green stripes under UV light. Paint doesnt fluoresce very well under 395nm light, so you will need a 365nm light for it to show up. Ended up just using neon paint from the hardware store complete my project. Do not recommend.

Useful, but I would spend more money to get more vibrant colors next time. Great for kids or first time use.
First and foremost, the price of this product is so affordable it's hard to make a real complaint. Plus when they ship it to you, they give a cool little blacklight keychain to help you check the colors. Very useful for future orders. I think the product is a usable product for the price. They dry perfectly white or perfectly clear (dependent on the color you use and how many layers you use) which is really nice because you don't want to see the colors in regular light. I was able to paint these on seashells with only a slight haze over the seashell in regular light. Don't be fooled, however, by the colors. They are not as they seem. I am not excited about how the colors turned out. They are not as vibrant as another product I used that was double this price. The White looks like Blue under the blacklight. But of course that's probably just the blacklight. The Red (as always for blacklight colors) looks Pink/Magenta but hardly shows. The Yellow is very soft, not very vibrant. It's more like a pastel yellow and you have to apply several layers to get it to even appear. The Blue looks Violet under blacklight which I was actually happy about because they did not have Violet when I ordered this and I was just going to deal with it. So I was happy to find Violet in there. Orange... this one made me laugh, the Lemon looks more Orange to me and the Orange was more like Beige. Obviously the "Orange/Biege whatever it is" needed several layers to get it to show. Green was the only color that looks as advertised and still needed several layers to show. Overall, I am not very satisfied with what I got, though it is usable. It was very inexpensive and did just enough once I figured out how to get the colors to pop. I am most disappointed in the yellow. I thought it would be much more vibrant. The most vibrant color in this bunch is the White. The rest are hard to see and need several layers to see them. I would recommend spending more money if you want vibrant colors. This product would be good for playtime with kids. It's not very expensive and it dries clear and sometimes with a light white fog so they can paint all over any white surface for fun.

Great for an escape room like clue
Used to add hidden letters to an acrylic painting. It is important to know that, in the right light, the sheen of the paint can be seen unless it matches the background. I solved the problem by adding clear non UV letters of a similar sheen. You could probably also add a clear coat to hide.

Fantastic for Fun Black Light Painting
I bought these for a color-based art project. I decided to make an artwork which looks completely white (i.e. "empty") under normal light but then you turn on the black light and see the actual image. These worked perfectly! Under white light there is NO sign of color. The image looks completely white. I added some black letters (with normal black marker) on top of the image so at least the canvas looks like there is something there. That's all an initial viewer sees - a white canvas with a few black letters on it. Turn on the black light and voila! You can see the full image. It's quite neat. Highly recommended for anybody who wants a plain white look with regular lights and then wants the full power of black light paint under black light. I'll note that these are acrylic paints so they are just like all other acrylic paints - wet when wet, and then dry-and-crunchy when dry. You wouldn't use these for things like body painting or fabric. I've loaded up an example image to show the comparison. Again note the black letters are black marker, so those will always be visible. Ask away with questions!
