Great oven with great customer support from Instant, too!
We have enjoyed learning how to air fry as well as using all the other features of the spacious Omni Plus 18L model since we bought it as a Christmas gift to each other in Dec '21. And use it we did, every day, and it worked beautifully and reliably for everything from cookies to roasts and all the air frying favorites... until about a week ago when for reasons still baffling to me (we never abused it), the main knob control decided it just didn't want to do anything anymore -- it was stuck in place, pressed in, and would no longer let us do anything with the oven. I haven't seen that as a common issue with this brand... BUT, the main thing I want to mention is, even though it was long after the Amazon warranty had expired, the Instant website has a great customer support department -- I wrote them about the problem, the next day they replied ready to help and asked a few more questions about what was going on, and then asking for a few pictures of the serial sticker and the problem (I sent video of the stuck knob), and screenshot of the purchase invoice... and the day after I sent all of that (very simple to get it all done), they told us they would simply be sending us a brand new unit, no charge or shipping, and it is already in the post and tracking number sent. That, to me, is prompt, helpful and customer-friendly support! Every correspondence was courteous, polite, to the point but not cold, in fact each one seemed very enthusiastic to get us back to cooking with Instant... and the last mail they sent referred to how happy they are to help and how happy they are to have loyal customers in the Instant Brands family. That may not seem like a big deal to some, but in this day and age of so much lousy or even non-existent support for so many electronic/electrical devices, it feels VERY good to know a company which has taken our hard-earned money actually reads, answers and FIXES problems for their customers. Gee, sometimes manufacturers care a little. Well done, Instant. An excellent model from an excellent company... from whom we will definitely be buying other products from now on.

Love this brand!! Instant Pot has done it again! :)
Instant Pot has done it again! Made my life easier and more fun in the kitchen! Intuitive and and easy to use but comes with great set of instructions for a good quick start or if you have questions about any of the functions. Love the Digital Touch interface and size of cooking space inside oven with great tray, rack and basket. And MUCH more useful than my old basket air fryer since you can toast or broil as well in the Omniplus without the item like a rice cake or piece of toast banging around with the convection hot air blowing! So far easy to clean but haven’t tried to do rotisserie chicken or pork roast in it yet which could be messier…but I don’t think it will be a problem as long as you wipe down the racks and trays after each use as recommended. This Omniplus does not take up that much more real estate on my counter than the smaller Vortex one that I considered with less functionality so I highly recommend spending a few extra dollars If you need to combine your appliances into one instead of also having a toaster, dehydrator etc). It’s a sleek and good looking appliance also! As far as the noise it makes, it’s an air fryer, it blows air like a convection oven so you can’t expect it to be super quiet but it’s not annoying and it does have little beeps to let you know when to rotate or turn your food or when preheat is done for baking or when your item is finished. The blower will continue for a bit to cool off your oven. This is perfectly normal. I looked at many of these ovens online before purchasing And kept coming back to this one , not only because of the reviews but because I am so impressed with my Instant Pot that I use all the time. You won’t be disappointed in this purchase!!

Great, but see comments and warnings after using this for awhile...
This thing rocks. Best air fryer ever. I have used the other modes on it, but honestly, air fry is the sweet spot. Be warned though, you have to experiment with the temps. I have found that 360 more or less equals 450 oven, but also cooks wayyyy quicker. Also, I think it has gotten too hot and the leds on the front are weird (some segments are bright, others are dim see photo), and also the beep has stopped. I also think, untended, this could be a fire hazard if your not used to using it. It vents in the back, so be sure that you have space back there - the air that comes out is quite hot, and I could see issues with that. Ours is in the corner at an angle where the walls meet, so that gives it enough space, but the cabinets that kinda overhang it do get a little warm. But, yeah, it air Frys things really really well.

Perfect Toasrer Oven choice for any Home / Office, newlywed gift, or your Man Cave!
This 2nd Gen - Instant Pot Omni Pro 19 QT/18L Air Fryer Toaster Oven Combo is a definite 'Must-Have' for any office, studio kitchen, as a newlywed Gift, family & friends, or your Man Cave.Note - this was a replacement for the older 1st Gen, Instant Omni Pro 19QT/18L Toaster Oven Air Fryer, 14-in-1, which lasted exactly 1.5 years, under heavy-use.Over the past 12 years, I have always recommended the Breville Toaster oven's, as they have always performed very well. Last January, my last medium-sized Breville was basically done after 5 years of heavy-duty use, so decided to look around for an upgrade, for my H/O. So, I purchased the 1st Gen Omni Toaster Oven. This is an update review for the 2nd Gen, which I find a much better oven than the 1st Gen (no longer available), primarily it does not over-heat, so the Temperature control is more precise..The Pro's - has 10 Function's yet to be discovered, or UN-covered, but, what also drew me to this unit is how Sleek and Modern it is and how it uses modern technology across it's cooking schemes.By comparison with the Breville's vs Instant Pot Omni Pro is like comparing a basic, over-sized toaster oven, even with a very good performance, vs, the quicker, time-saving, Energy saving's Future technology, with this improved 2nd Gen model. This is more apparent with this 2nd gen, as it cook's quicker, the new display has a large knob for adjusting Temperatures & Times, however the Main Menu remains the pretty much the same as the older one, so it's familiar, and don't need another "learning curve'. The end cycle alerts do not seem to be as loud as the older one. Also after a cooking cycle, it is much Cooler, than the older one, which probably explains the determent to the Display electronics, but not UN-like some of the Breville older model's..The Con's - Nothing to report, but will if there is an issue..Buy again? Definitely, with no reservation's.Get one, and Gift one.DSM

extremely versatile and well-made, use it every day
I can't say too many good things about this little oven. I use it practically every day. It is very well made and easy to clean. The people who designed this oven did a very good job. I like that it remembers your last settings -- make toast on the morning and then air-fry some chicken that evening and the next time you make toast it remembers the temperature and time you used. The same for more chicken the next day. The interior is easy to clean and the front glass is flush with the door so no splatters get trapped in cheap mounting flanges like in cheap toaster ovens. The sides and top stay reasonably cool to the touch at all times. I've discovered the greatness of beef jerky with it's dehydrate setting.I checked the temperature calibration with an internal thermometer and it is spot on. It even beeps to tell you when you should turn food over for better cooking. If you are looking for a counter-top cooking appliance to take the place of your oven, air-fryer, dehydrator, rotisserie, and toaster/broiler I don't think you can go wrong with the Instant Omni Plus. Highly recommended. If I have one complaint is that it isn't very good making toast. It takes forever (7 1/2 minutes for toast, really?) and never gets it really brown. After two months I just discovered that my 10 inch cast iron skillet will fit in the oven! I can make cornbread in this thing. It just keeps getting better.

I love it!!!!!
I had a different air fryer and I hated it. I didn't understand why someone who doesn't eat a lot of processed food would ever use one. It just took up space so I sold it.Then I talked to someone who had one similar to this one and she told me about all of the things she cooks in hers. How delicious the food was and how quick and easy cooking with it was.I was skeptical, but this one was a Amazon Prime Day deal so I thought "what the hell". If I hate it I will just sell it like the last one.I LOVE IT! I use it all the time. Steak, chicken breast, pork chops, roasted vegetables, EVERYTHING has been amazing.I will say that the instructions were nonexistent. But I went on youtube and found some videos and now feel like I could make my own video because I use it so often. It heats up and cooks quickly, replaced our toaster and we use it more than the oven.

Don't do it. Unsafe rack, unsafe temperatures (19qt combo)
This review is for the Omni Plus 19Qt Toaster Oven/AirFryer. Don't be fooled by the high stars and purchase count because there are server item listed and most reviews are for the general airfryers. This combo is not what you want.1. It takes too long to do everything, using way more energy than needed to do simple tasks. Basic toast is almost 5 minutes(no idea whey). There is no real temp control. It takes very long to preheat for airfry and bake. Also - once it is finished cooking and you take out your food, it has a setting that keeps it running(I guess to coo down) but even if you open the door to help cool it runs its entire timed shut down. Very Strange.2. Everything is only on a timer and not true temp control. I wanted to bake something and accidentally selected air fry. After the preheat I realized what I did, so I switched it all over to bake... it went through the entire preheat sequence(which should not have taken long since it was already preheated to 425) - which means its not about temp, its only a preset timer and it preheated a full 5 minutes AGAIN.This resulted in the internal temp to be WAY too hot. It burned my frozen pizza in a few minutes. I took it out and it was still raw dough under the well cooked top. The heat that came out was outragoues.3. Others stated it and it happened to me as well... the oven rack is either a hair too small in width, or the "ledges" inside are not wide enough, so the rack falls down on one side. 2 Elios pizzas had it falling down(they aren't even heavy.. imagine a small lasagna or casserole - no way its staying up . That is unsafe to reach in and try and fix when its past its preheat stage. I ended up just using the tray, but that is not what I wanted to use. The rack is important and without it, its not much of a toaster/mini oven.4. Last Gripe - the fan that vents the hot air is direcited straight out and up the back. If you have this under a cabinet, it will heat your cabinets ALOT. I could feal the heat inside the cabinet. If you had anything that could melt in the cabinet above it, it surley would every time you used it. I was just worried about what the heat would do to my wooden cabinets over time.5 - I returned it. I went with the a standard toaster oven and basic air fryer. Maybe these are just not meant to be combined.

This is pricey but worth it!
This thing is just amazing. I had a Farberware oven that I got about 8 years ago that recently became a hazard. That thing was great, but this thing... It is just awesome. Easy to clean. Works fast. Food cooks so well and evenly. Also this thing is huge, but space efficient. This thing cost 4x more on sale than my previous air fryer oven, but this thing has eliminated my need for my actual oven. A whole pizza fits in it, and it was one of the best baked pizzas I have ever had!

An amazing product
I purchased this for $250 CAD, which was not a sale price but much lower than the price on Instant's website at the time, which was $250 USD.The oven is quite large on the outside, about the size of a typical microwave but taller (roughly 16 inches W x 14" H x 14" D). The manual says you should leave 5 inches of clearance above the unit, which I think should not be ignored since it does throw out quite a bit of heat from the top.I have been very pleased with customer support. I didn't find the rotisserie spit in the box, which could be my own carelessness, not sure. They immediately sent me a replacement, no questions asked. I've been waiting until it arrived to make this review because I was curious to see how the rotisserie function worked.I was able to rotisserie a 1.5 kg chicken with no issues, and the result was incredible. Cleanup is a bit annoying since it can be hard to wipe down some of the inside parts near the elements. Overall very impressed. Other functions also work very well. The biggest concerns are 1) it always spends the same ~5 minutes preheating when you start it up, and you will have to re-"start it up" if you want to change any of the settings, such as temperature, cooking time, or function, after you started it initially. This makes it hard if you're working with a vague recipe with an uncertain amount of time. 2) the toast function releases a little bit of smoke when you open it up, which can be alarming.Very happy with my purchase. It has replaced my regular oven for most things. I would note that while a 12" pizza will just barely fit inside, a pizza stone for that size will just barely not fit.

Perfect for one or two people
I had an 8 year old table top Moulinex convection oven that was getting long in the tooth and wasting energy due to poor insulation. This beauty has a reasonably well sealed door and works much faster than I expected. Be careful the first few times you use this oven as the cooking times will surprise you.Using it is quite straight forward and the display is excellent. As I am a hands on cook I seldom use presets with my appliances so I can't really comment on that but the operation and quality of the end result is well worth the cost of this little guy. I got mine on a deal for about $300 but knowing how well this works I would pay more than that today.Air-frying is really fast - you must be careful as you can easily cremate food before you expect it.BTW - the best hot dog next to deep fried can be made with this product - in much less time than you would expect.Cleaning it isn't all that easy, but I've found that cranking it up on air fry will get rid of most of the interior build-up.The Instant people provide recipes and support and the operation of the oven is easy-peasy . . . as long as you RTFB.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED - and my power bill has gone down $15 a month as I almost never use my full size oven any longer.

Great product but the one rack is too small
Love this , it works great! However the silver rack that’s supposed to hold a pot or something like that is a bit too small so as soon as you put something on it, either one or both sides fall off of the ledges it rests on.

Great appliance for a good price@
We already owned an Instant Pot Pressure Cooker as well as the IP Vortex Plus (best purchase of 2020!!) and were contemplating upgrading for a while. The Omni is bigger than the Vortex Plus, so serves more people, and is a true convection oven with top as well as bottom heating elements. We didn't hesitate when the price dropped to approx $270 during Prime Day. It was delivered quickly and more than meets our expectations. It cooks a lot quicker than a conventional oven and is more economical in terms of electricity consumption. It is also healthier to airfry than to deep fry. We rarely ever use the big oven anymore. No need. We love the Omni Plus Airfryer! Appreciate the great support of the customer service provided as well, including tips and inquiries, as well as online IP community involvement and recipes. Great company!

Formidable
