Granrosi Farmhouse Butter Dish - Retro Airtight Butter Container with Lid; Covered Butter Holder; Fridge & Countertop Use

As I have heard from other that reviews have occasionally been repurposed, this review is for the item currently titled "Granrosi Farmhouse Butter Dish - Beautiful Butter Container With Wooden Lid Keeps Your Butter Soft and Enhances Your Kitchen Decor". We needed a new catproof butter dish after adopting two new kittens. They discovered the old butter dish and helped themselves. After a bit of looking, I settled on this one. I'm happy to say that the lid is very will fitted. Most humans should be able to remove the lid without issues, though it might be a challenge for those with, say, arthritis. The cats won't even try to remove it, so I'm guessing the seal is airtight or close to it. The materials are solid and can survive a drop from the top of the refrigerator if needed. Cleaning is easy, and the design contains butter that melts on a hot day. I don't think I'll need to purchase one of these again for a very long time, but I would certainly recommend it highly.

Really cute & functional

Lovely butter dish, but doesn't hold entire brick. Lid has to be payed open with knife which damages the black rim but I like the dish anyway.

This is enamel-coated metal. It is not sized for a pound of butter. Photos show how I had to cut, and squash to fit it in. Looks nice, though. Lost two stars for misrepresenting. EDIT. If you fill it as I did, the lid is very difficult to remove as it sticks to the butter. I recommend that half-pound bricks be used.

Looks good. Lightweight and lid goes on well. I like the color. Good seal.
